uhh he has never switched up the contnet

just the beats

his albums are a perfect example of what kind of music is hot @ the time then he follows it..

jay has never been a leader/trend setter musically just a follower chasing dollars

Yet he talks about selling crack in nearly every song, its just that rather than delve deeper into the social ills of it like he did on D'evils or Allure, he now just references it as a way to brag.

Taking a cue from one of his songs:

How ironic....

You cats need to chill with the bashing of rappers. If you don't like the rapper's music, why comment on it? Jay isn't Nas & Nas isn't Jay. No one asked Chuck Dee why didn't he rap like Big Daddy Kane. Everyone is different so accept the facts.

People used to debate over who was better between Kane and Rakim, though, all the time.

If Jay Z wants to be considered the GOAT then it is fair to question why he can't make a song like 'Nasty' in 2011.

Why can't Nas make good commercial records?

Fixed for accuracy. And Nas did make good commercial records...he's not Jay-Z. They're two different artists on two different paths of musical vision/lyrics and tastes.
