Here we go

lol. Seriously doubt that will happen, but the funny thing about the 72 Dolphin undefeated team that these CS haters don't know and won't like...

...They only played TWO teams in the regular season that year that finished with a winning record. (Chiefs and Giants)

Hmmm.....

A lot of those games were close too.......

Konz is the real deal. Reynolds was just a bandaid for a fucked up line last year anyway.

I'm just glad Sam Baker actually looks like a NFL tackle this year.

Seriously. He doesn't have alot of picks or stats. But he is no longer a liability and he makes you forget about whoever he's covering because he blanks them out. For example: He was on Dez Bryant most of the Cowboys game -- 1 catch, 15 yards.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

KONZ! Underrated 'cause it's hard to see a O-lineman's contributions. Only 2 starts, but he's been rotating all year and balling out.

MOST IMPROVED

I've always noticed his potential, but he was obviously in the wrong system. He doesn't have elite Safety skills like WillyMo, but he reminds me of Merton Hanks of the Niners back in the day. He just makes plays on the ball - period.

All i'm going to say about the game is

1. Turner should not have a carry again this season. Quizz, Snelling and smith should get the rushes now.

2.The o-line has to stop bitching up on 3rd and 4th and 1. We can't keep running these gimmick ass plays.

Other than those problems we still good

True. We need a plan on short yardage. Our offense is designed to get us in 3rd-and-manageable situations, but if you can't "manage" what's "manageable" then what the fuck you doing??

Damn shame when you're better off having a 3 and 8 than a 3rd and inches.

Yeah its probably time for him to go. I can't blame the short yardage situations on him tho cause he's getting hit 3 yards behind the line because the OL can't hold up

So which RB best fits this offense in the draft after the season?

The O-line isn't great but they're built for pass protection. They're doing alright with that part but lts be real here ppl. We spent 2 draft picks on the Line this year. I don't see us investing too much more picks on those positions again. We need an agile running back to make up for the line.

I said Turner gotta go right?

I say we sign the next Turner.

By that, I mean a current backup RB that shows a lot of promise that is currently backing up an elite RB like Turner was in SD.

I want a different type tho. I'm tired of Turner's "bowling ball" style. We need a "thunder" type back. Dude that hits the hole hard no matter what.

I don't want to break the bank OR spend a high draft pick on it with so much talent and money already tied up on offense.

Keep in mind, Matty and Julio are still playing on rookie contracts.

We still need help on defense. We need a space eater or line shifter up front. Having a dominant front four does for LB's what a good O-line does for QBs and backs.

Then at the end of the day --- We're 8-1 with the best record in the conference - as is, and just 1 yard away from being 9-0.

The best decision dimitroff and Blank made last offseason was not panic and go out trying to sign the world just because of playoff lawse. The salary cap restrictions pretty much guarantees that EVERY team will have a hole in its roster unless they draft perfectly -- But even then you have to eventually pay those "perfect" draft picks their worth.

We straight, cuh.

Ive been ready to get rid of Turner. His blocking has to be damn near perfect for him to get some yards. We need a back that hits the hole hard and has some speed that can make up for our O-Line not being the best at run blocking. Those Aints RB's didnt have a lot of room but they made some stuff happen in that run game.

Yeah it's fucked up when Julio is your best option on 3rd and short. But we still got the #1 seed right now just gotta get spoon healthy and fix the short yardage problems (use snelling more) and we good.

Atlanta Falcons: Todd McClure on struggling run game: ‘More to it than five guys up front’

2:09 pm November 12, 2012, by Michael Cunningham

By Michael Cunningham

FLOWERY BRANCH–Falcons center Todd McClure doesn’t want to hear about how Atlanta’s failure to convert short runs for first downs against the Saints yesterday paralleled their inability to do the same in the 2012 playoffs against the Giants.

The Falcons couldn’t convert a third-and-short run in the fourth quarter against the Saints and then opted to try three straight passes at the one-yard line with a chance to win the game. McClure bristled at the suggestion that there were similarities to the Giants game.

“That’s two totally different ballgames,” McClure said. “That’s what [ticks] me off more than anything is you guys are going to write about how bad we are up front and that we can’t get in the end zone. But there’s more to it than just blocking up front, and that’s all I’m going to say about that.

“I get really frustrated when I hear things and read things knowing there’s more to it than five guys up front but we take the brunt of the blame. I don’t want to talk about that anymore because I don’t want to say anything I regret.”

The Falcons managed 46 yards on just 18 carries against the Saints, who were the worst team in the league against the run entering the game. Atlanta running back Michael Turner, who was dropped for a loss of one yard on third down during the penultimate possession, gained just 15 yards on 13 carries.

McClure didn’t elaborate on the issues in the running game but said the struggles are about the offense overall not just the line.

“It is in every aspect of it,” he said. “But we get the ball on the one, we are expected to get it in. I just get frustrated sometimes the past couple years. There’s more to it than just lining up and blocking the guys wherever they line up. And that’s it. I can’t talk about it anymore.”

The media & part-time fans is a joke though. For two years they all have been saying we need to run the ball more, shouldn't draft Julio and stop changing the identity of the team. Now their dumbass is just now saying Turning lost a step and we can't get enough push up front. We would have an 8-8 season for 2 years str8 trying to depend on Larry Holmes. I'm not even going to mention how other teams are still contenders with 3 losses already. We lose one game to a division rival on a 4 game winning streak and we're overrated.

They can eat a dick

Preach

lol. IKR, but are you really surprised?? I called this shit 4 weeks ago when we were 4-0.

I knew that the same dumb nikkas screaming "regular season don't mean nothing" were the same niggas that had us in 3rd or 4th place in the division in the offseason.

I knew those same haters would start acting like we're 1-8 as soon as we lose a game.

Just haters doing what they do. Last year we all wondered how and why niggas on and offline hate on a team like ours so much (like we got 15 or 16 rings like the Lakers or Celtics). So this shouldn't be a surprise.

Don't have shit to do with the playoffs either. It actually reminds me of the Vick situation. People really thought his "haters" were just dog lovers or people who couldn't stand liars. lol. Real falcon fans knew his haters were sitting back for years waiting on him to fuck up so they can throw stones.

Our playoff record the last 4 years is our "dog fighting case". Just an excuse for haters to cling to.

So it's all good to me. I'm used to it. And honestly, it just makes every win sweeter.

Fortunately, this ain't College football, so what the media and fake fans think doesn't matter. In fact, a part of me is enjoying seeing all the dumbfucks on and offline show their envy or their lack of football knowledge when they speak on us.

I read that whole article thinking "Say Michael Turner, SAY IT! Say it, Mudd duck!!"

Its like christmas came early for Falcons haters. Niggas get to use they Matty Ice jokes, ain'ts fans finally starting to talk after 8 weeks of being quiet, and niggas can say "I told you so" even tho they aint say shit. Real Falcons fans know that we still on top of the NFC and aint going nowhere. All this loss meant is that the bandwagon niggas jump off which is a good thing.
