I thought about making a thread asking the IC how many QBs in the last decade has won a playoff game in their first 3/4 years in the league(not many). Just didn't feel like it. It still would be pointless because haters goin hate regardless.

Niggas was comparing him to Alex Smith in another thread, and it dawned on me how salty niggas are about Matt. Alex Smith went WENT years of not even sniffing the playoffs, being trash, stanking up a once dominant franchise...

Harry Douglas gotta build Matt's trust. When your QB has 3 or 4 options better than you (Roddy, Julio, The Goat, and whichever RB in the checkdown) you have to build trust by communicating in the huddle when you're open and then actually catching the ball when he throws to you.

If the QB throws you the rock one time all game - and you drop it - he ain't coming back to you unless he has to.

We need to stop dropping passes on check downs too. I've seen Quiz and Turner drop at least 6 check downs this year. And that was supposed to be one of the biggest differences in our O this year = getting the RB involved in the passing game.

This Oakland game is a trap game that ain't even worth talkin' too much about.

I call these games "Fight a bitch" games. lol. Cause it's like fighting a female.

I say use yall draft picks on Defense and you winnin the SB next season. Falcons defense still makin plays but aint Elite

Defense doesn't have to be elite to win Superbowls(Saints, Packers, Patriots, Colts).

They just have to be great at creating turnovers. Creating turnovers is something that the Falcons rank #1 in the NFL at by the way.

Falcons have to spend half of the draft on an Offensive Line after the season. Our O-line was TUUURRRRRBBBBBLLLLLEEEEEE last season so we got a new Oline coach. He's doing a good job but we have to put an extra offensive linemen on the field every other down to help block. That takes a receiver or RB off of the field half of the game. We can't have that.

1st or 2nd round they need to get a MJD or Frank Gore type of RB to compliment Turner and a Nose tackle to help with the run defense in our "Big Nickle" formation. The rest of the draft needs to address the O-line immediately.

We're good at DB *this* year, but we ain't out of the woods. Asante will only be around one more year if that. Dunta will either take a pay cut or be gone. Grimes is all but gone.

We should definitely go defensive in all three first rounds unless there's an opportunity to get a can't miss RB, tackle, or tight end.

And Akeem Dent ain't cuttin it at LB. We're only using 2 LB's at a time 80% of the time so whoever is in there has to be good. Nicholas is injury prone, so it wouldn't hurt to get a good, natural, Mike LB to hold it down.
