If you compare the sells for BISD to his previous albums, than you might feel that 50 cent should retire. But, put yourself in a place of a president of a label. Here, you have an artist that put out an album BISD, with only 3 known features (Neyo, R Kelly, Eminem) and sold about the same and more amount of records as some of these other albums with 10 features (Low production cost).And no, he is not paying 100K for DRE beat cause understand it's under DRE label so he's getting hurge % of the Sales. The only album that I could thin off top with less amount of features that sold great numbers in 2009 was Eminems relapse. Even that BP3 had a tone of features. Not to mention, internationally, he is doing about the same amount of numbers as U.S, sell more internationally than every other rapper except Eminem in 2009. Also Interscope is not really fully backing 50 cent like a Def Jam and Atlantic would. With a label backing him 100%, 50 cent could do good numbers. Also remember the 50 cent brand and all the other side money the label would make off of 50 cent just by being associated with him.
