Off topic but I think the type of music chance makes is the future of where rap music is headed - uplifting, more Jazzy, orchestra types of sounds. The drill music turn up shit is going to transition because rap fans are older now and need something that speaks to them. Hip-Hop is pop music now and so now you need a genre that can touch both the young and old.

Decent project. Only real complaint I have is the engineering. The levels are a little low for my taste, which means I when I listen to this on my phone, I have to sit in a quiet room. Other than that, it's not bad.

This album is full of so much elation and joy. It sorta has that gospel music feeling to it; moreover, the majority of the tracks has that "I feel good" vibe to it. This album though, isn't my cup of tea. It isn't bad, I'm just not feeling this happiness approach even though he has been doing this in the past. I just feel like when he did 10 day and AR it came off so natural, while this project it sounds like he's forcing some shit.

True I agree. I thought the album would be an acid rap 2, instead it was something entirely different...hopefully it grows on me.

Does he really have 2 songs called 'Blessings' or is my track list fucked up?

The second is the reprise. I haven't gotten to either of em, but wiki lists both tracks with different producers, so I'm assuming different beats

Matter fact theres a 3rd track called Blessings (Save The Money) dropped in like March that I cant figure why its not on here. I added to the album cause its dope.

He wanted the cover to capture the look on his face when he looks at his daughter.

Like someone mentioned earlier, this combination of rapping/singing is the new wave of hip hop. Drake does it, Future does it, Chance is doing it, Cole has done it on a few songs, etc......
