And to address the OP, it's been made clear at least in the short term how it's effected the markets. They're all down.

I refuse to consider the British as Europeans now. They are now "Atlantic Islanders"

Britain, and the British, have never considered themselves to be European.

I guess that's been made apparent today. What was your vote. You're British correct?

Erm. I was born in London. So, yeah British on the passport. Neither of my parents were born here though and when we were growin' up, we were reminded we were British all the time. Kinda stuck with me.

We're not like the Blacks over there. We have ZERO media presence. African/Caribbean culture nowhere near TV. See how like you guys have respected sports callers and pundits who are Black speak 'black'? Never get that over here

I've thought about that a few times, there should certainly be more of a mainstream output from the British diaspora. Why you think this is?

Coz we're new here. The first generation of Afro Caribbean migrants here are still alive. In buts and bobs anyway. The generation of whites who lived through that are also sill alive.

Also, white people here only like seein' upper classers like Benedict Cumberbatch and whatnot. Lower class people tend to be I'm lower class programmin', like the 'documentaries' on benefits families. They call it poverty porn smh

ill try to put this in simple terms as i understand it.....

think about NYC.this center of the financial world and america.

think of NYC voting to leave new york and america.

people close already know it costs like$30to drive into NYC but now that would double

people who drive into NYC know how long them damn lines are at the bridge and tunnels.....now add to that you must go thru customs.

then think about only being able to visit NYC for 90 days or you need a visa or reason to live there or stay longer.

wanting to go to a college in NYC , you would now need a student visa and you from Connecticut.

to use your debit or credit card in NYC would now result in international fees and exchange rates.

if you bring anything into NYC you would have to pay taxes...even if its old an you forgot it was in your trunk.

importing or exporting NYC made things would cost you more.

your scholarships could be affected, your research funding could be affected ...shit the knicks would now be a team from another country. carmelo would be a foreign nigga. youwould need a passport to go to the rucker. Jayz would be considered being born abroad and hiphop would have started in another country.

your passport would be different, your birth certificate wouldnt give you american protection nor its liberties. welfare would not be available to you.

shit your dog might have to be quarantined before you could move to the city with him..

companies may move to save on taxes and import and export fees.

getting arrested in NYC...you could now have to worry about extradition.

you would need a work visa to work in NYC and that shit is expensive.

while NYC can hold its own....the rest of new york would have the gas face....kinda like scotland and ireland does now.

these are all examples to try to compare

alot of small shit we take for granted can have a huge impact on a persons way of life.

thats why i say....this financial shit we seeing now....is just the tip of the iceberg...

It's funny how Britain stuck its nose in damn near Country around the globe and along with France fucked up the Middle East for oil after destroying the Ottoman Empire, but now it's Britain first.

If your employer is a global company.....your employer will be effected by Brexit. This is a global economy and the US and global US corporations lost billions of dollars Thursday night. The uncertainty of the UK is perpetuating fear so until the agreement of their exit is worked out with the EU, expect your employer to make some changes to sustain their losses especially if they have offices in the UK.
