lol.....Lots of fear = Lots of money. It will affect us temporarily, but we still have the strongest economy in the world. If anybody thinks brexit will fuck up America let me remind you of 2008. We couldn't even destroy our own economy. We'll be aight, if you have cash right now, take advantage of the fear. This is a friday, usually a slow trading day so the market being down don't mean as much as if this was a monday. A lot of emotion out there. Think clearly and you'll see it through.

The only way I see it being really long term is if there is a whole gang of reshuffling in the coming months. Don't listen to them CNBC niggas, they do a lot of guessing. Don't get shook when everybody else get scared, go in the fire and get that bread. We'll be fine.

There is a lot of irrational fear. Yes, the stocks will be down for a bit but things will rebound. Just keep a clear head and invest rationally.

The 2 emotions that mess people up in investing. Greed & Fear.

How? Put wi on

@Sion is much better, and much quicker with the details as he's been fuckin wit financials longer than I have. While I'm really good on predicting large moves, and general market moves, digesting the why, and the method of the moves takes me a bit longer. But what I said before I stand on.

I wish I still did forex, this is like a million dollar day.

My brokerage and ira accounts are taking a beating right now and it's not even 10 yet. I don't even want to look at this shit today.

I shoulda diversified my bonds.

Ah....these Jordan face memes are reminding me of the thread on here

And things will bounce back in due time. A big win for Trump in the long run, his ideas are wide spreading apparently. No clue who can possibly win presidency

I'm getting the impression that most think Trump being president could never happen...Just yesterday, the UK leaving the EU could never happen.

I might place a bet on Trump to ruin the world.

Friend of mine just sent me this pic saying #Texit is now trending on twitter

1. Why did the U.K. Leave the EU?

2. Pros and cons?

3. How does this effect the U.S. In the long run?

4. Is this more good or bad?

Is there a way for North Anericans to profit off this @2stepz_ahead @Sion

It's not going to hurt the U.S. economy in a very negative way. At best U.S. stock markets may fall. I spoke about this about 5 years ago in my Investment thread about the cons of being in the EU when they were in the toilet. It makes sense for Britain to leave because they never gave up their currency (the pound) anyways like other countries did. The reason why, when countries are in dire times like recession and need to stimulate their economy they print money to circulate. If a country gives that up, they can't do that and must wait for (in Europe's case) the ECB and other countries to vote in favour of stimulating their economy. Thing is like we saw a few years ago with Germany and Greece, Germans felt it wasn't their responsibility to give a shit about Greece and its issues. One of the dumbest things a country can is give up the ability to print money. Politically I think the resignation is taken as response to the vote but that's another thread. I didn't think Britain would do it given their situation. It's funny because Switzerland said they wouldn't join for this reason and everyone said they were dumb for not needing a surrogate parent with no fiscal policy to police them. That's the issue with the EU - aside from lack of unity they don't have proper fiscal policy and didn't seem to consider it before they formed.

In the long term it's better for Britain and gives them more control over their country and economy. It doesn't have anything to do with America and is NO indication of how Americans will vote. The difference with America and Europe is Americans have better sense of unity. If I go to Cali and ask what you are you'll say you're African American or Hispanic American. If I go to Turkey or Spain and ask that they'll say Turkish or Spanish and take offence if I call them European. It's better for Britain but a blow to the EU because it "shows" they can't keep countries under control, make decisions together and so forth. Will be interesting to see how this develops, Britain has it easier because they never gave up their currency when hey joined.

How is it better for England tho? From what I've read, Leave politicians have already retracted their statement to fund NHS and most folks voted over the issue of immigration

I told you people that The uk was going to leave the e.u .... i told you this last year and like i have been saying forever, europe will end up in war and turmoil. But you people continue not listening to zzombie and treating him like he's some kind of mad man

Britain can afford to leave the EU because of their exploitation of colonial and neocolonial possessions. I guess they were upset, from and economic perspective, with putting up funds to prop up failing economies like Greece. Outside of that they don't want to take on the burden of immigrants from southwest Asia.

Wales, N. Ireland, Scotland all want out of the U.K. That maybe good for Britain since they wouldn't have to fund those governments. They would probably use the Euro as their official currencies. Perhaps the English can benefit from this after all.
