so I watched JC vs Charlie clips again, only this time I watched Charlie first and then JC. Nestle Crunch Bars is something you had a meal with, that is one of the greatest lines I ever heard. Clipse came with it, but I just take JC was nicer. He's lyrical, dominant, and has an effective use of syllables. Charlie stretches his bars, and we use is 1 To 3 sylables. Imma give it to the nicer nigga.

I've never seen this part about the syllables verbalized, but I think I follow your assessment and I agree. It's the reason I said I felt like JC was nicer with the flow before going into my reasoning for Charlie getting the W. I put some weight on the angles used and the use of truth, or at least things that can be observed. Plus even if Charlie isn't nicer with the flow he's still nice enough to win w/ the combination of other elements I just mentioned.

yes, very debatable. Much like the magic vs chilla Jones, Jones stressed out a lot of his metaphors and sometimes it was hard to see which words he was rhyming. With b. magic, you can pace yourself and know when the punches going to hit. And you don't have to worry how lyrical it's going to be, it's going to rhyme very well.

on the flip side, you'll have someone like M City verses big cannon. I hope you can tell I'm using speak to text. Anyway, m. City was very lyrical and had many punchlines, but his opponent won with personals and aggression. if Charlie came with the same attitude that Kannon gave Lil Dave, then it would have been a body bag.

Looked JC was hella consistent. But to me Clips had haymakers, played this nigga on his style. Made me laugh at the nigga then he had the schemes and bar of the night when he told him what he'd do to Ill Will.

Clips just had so many dimensions with his verse. JC coming one way the whole time. He had bars and nice presence.
