Hitman beat Arsonal in Jersey. Same place Swave sonned O Red at and Cortez battled Shotgun Suge.

I always thought that was jersey.

"Ain't no parking lot"

After seeing the Ars vs Aye Verb battle and seeing alot of ya'll comments I went and watched like 6 Arsonal battles to see why people had such an issue with his disrespect shit. Maybe it's because I'm an asshole, but I find the shit funny. Yeah sometimes he goes long as fuck and that's annoying, hell one nigga even said "You know he raps for like 30 mins" while Ars was still spitting lol, but majority of the lines do what it's supposed to do which is get a crowd reaction

He gets crowd reaction but due to the length of his rounds you either start forgettingte hard hitting lines or they're so far apart its pointless havin the filler between..... Better to have a 2 min round well constructed of hard hitting blows than a 4 minute round which has the same amount of hard hitting blows with filler bars between.

As for the disrespect shit.... Its an angle he uses everytime, show some versatility switch subject matter up... How many times can you hear him talk about skull dragging kids across the front lawn before it gets boring lol.

I love that disrespectful shit Ars does. Biggest "fuck you" you can do imo.

I disagree. The biggest "fuck you's" are grounded in reality. While hypothetical situations that will never occur can be put together in an entertaining way, they can't knock an opponent off his square and force him to actually consider the words. Everybody knows it's an act. I'm not saying that act can't be entertaining b/c it is sometimes, but a real "fuck you" about some believable stuff is better IMO.

Yes & No. Its more about breaking down your opponent & if disrespect is the way u do it so be it

With Arsonal its not even about whether its actually disrespect. On 1 end- we know its a gimmick so it takes away some of the bite. We know that Arsonal is going to say something about a woman in ur family & doin somethin outlandish. But we also know its not true so its null for the opponent.Has it ever really gotten under an opponents skin or affected their rounds? So to what end is the means- For the crowd if u into that you'll love it

But at this point in 2013 battle rap & hip hop period the whole "dont talk about my momma or else" kind of attitude needed in the opponent mixed with the "did he just say that" reaction doesnt really exist.

@1of1- i think everyones delivery is more entertaining than Chillas lol. But thats not to say Chilla doesnt have a good delivery. To not get boo'd off stage everytime with what he's saying and how long it takes is only because he delivers the eventual punch well. "solar systems" lol

Ars was rambling less but i think compared to Clips, even a Daylyt and Chilla its worse b/c it leads nowhere. It isnt serving a purpose other than rhyming words. IF u like to listen to the way words come together you love it. Bascially u like battle rap for the rapper rapping it.

my point being that a lot of these rappers are doin basically the same shit but our preferences mixed with how aggressive it's delivered skewers the final judgment call

I agree with you. A well executed "Real talk" can definitely be the biggest fuck you. I kind of look at the disrespectful shit a little differently. While what ars is saying isn't a fact, it gets under the opponents skin.

Like when Ars did it to shotty. Was talking about his dead uncle and shit.

To me it tests them as a man. Your on that stage in front of hundreds of people and this dudes going on about fucking up or killing everything you love. Some emcees cant take that and they lose their vibe in the battle. They may get extra frustrated and forget their lines, or their presence will be completely off. Some emcees can bounce back from it or shake it off. It always makes for an interesting battle when Ars does that shit imo.

I see what you're saying, but 98% of battle rap is outlandish. I mean how many of them dudes don't go a full battle without spitting about having gun after gun to shoot everybody on the stage with? Niggas outright dissing niggas entire gangs/sets. That type of shit outside a battle is an instant beef. If I'ma be annoyed by Ars' disrespectful bars then I'd be annoyed by battling in general.

So Tech 9 dropped a Daylyt diss track, entitled “Boyz In The Hood” and Daylyt responds in… typical Daylyt fashion.

I don't know whether to laugh or be ashamed...

Nah, bruh. I'm good. I'm sitting here waiting to for this dude to spit and in another tab, come back to this nigga Daylyt ass naked rapping? What in the actual fuck?
