As far as diz/cortez.. cortez won, plain n simple. You can't deny he came well prepared for this battle..while diz honestly could give 2 fucks. Diz is on that diva status which is a shame cause I once had him in my top 5.. his skills imo are top notch..he just is more interested in showing up for that check. Hopefully, he takes his potential battles vs verb, and ars serious.. I think verb would win regardless, and him and ars needed that rematch

oh yeah Young Kannon too most defintely. Young Kannon beat, B-Magic, O Red, JC, Qleen Paper, Danja Zone, Tay Rock, M Ciddy, NuBorn, Lottazay, and Real Deal next. and he still Slept on. Crazy. YK deserves the big stage.

Even tho I dont agree all of those are clear wins, alot of those are debatable wins. He definitely lost to Swave Sevah tho. I love to see him up against a Hitman Holla or a Conceited.

According to what lush one sai earlier/yesterday about this battle. He said the main events fucked it up by dropping out and he basically had a beg Diz to take the battle as he never wanted to do it. So I can understand the lack of prep.... But that being said, if you're being paid to battle, I expect to see a battle not no half ass 1 written round.

I personally think Smack is making his more respected artists come lack luster by holding their battles.... He expects them to show loyalty but he ain't doing them no justice holding battles, personally I'd be in the same mind frame can't blame them to a certain degree.

Against hollohan he was a beast, against soul khan he made it debateable/not a clear KO, Against Thesaurus he killed him.

See, I don't get that "better in Grindtime/KOTD" thing. Homie was a gatekeeper in Grindtime. Only thing I remember him for is losing. He had all the right energy but his setups were ass. It was like 24 bars-warm shit-24 more bars--more warm shit. He got it under control versus Hollohan, I believe, in KOTD most definitely, but that was the first time I gave a fuck about HIM instead of his opponent.

This time? He brought that murderdeathkill to Diz's chest.

Earlier in this thread I was giving Young Kannon his props. I think I said he needs to be on a Summer Madness stage. Danja Zone came with some shit, I don't think Kannon won. Maybe a tie. That battle was nice.

He also had a good battle vs Real Talk. Real Talk did his thing too.

Scripts was actually kinda entertaining in that battle vs YK if I remember correctly.
