Wsup with Cam Robinson? Seems to be dominant run blocker but so so in pass protection. Maybe projects to RT in the League?

Coming into this year I thought dude was a top 3 pick.

His pass blocking wasn't as good as I though

Foster and peppers had the same diluted urine cuz of over hydration. Much to do about nothing. At bama he made our defensive calls just like ever middle line backer before him McClain hightower Nico johnson cj Mosley Reggie ragland and him. He will be fine with the right coach and system.

if its so obvious then why folk asking questions bout him like he aint good?

AP going to the Saints?? If this was 2012 I'd be mad af

I figured this shit was a dumb move by all parties involved when I first heard about it. However it might help AP to go to a team that doesn't over utilize him and his presence alone should help open up passing lanes for Brees

Them signing Peterson is not bad but it aint a game changer. Cant even call him a change of pace. I just hope he makes it through the season.

I am just happy they havent pulled the trigger on trade for Butler with a 1st rounder. I wouldnt do it unless it was for the second rounder or third.

This draft has in abundance all of the things they need. CB and DE. Why trade for Butler?

I really don't see how this helps us.

AP coming to a pass happy offense like ours probably wasn't smart on his part either. Teams like Baltimore and Seattle that better utilize their running game probably could have used his services more.

We already have Ingram, Murphy, Hightower, Cadet, and I think Lasco at RB. A couple of those cats are going to either be cut or relegated to the practice squad.

AP and Ingram are the type of backs that need touches to be effective, I don't know how they both get 20/25 touches with Brees throwing the ball 35/40 times a game. Sean Payton probably ain't changing his offensive philosophy. If I was Ingram I'd be livid because he's the one who'll probably end up being used more as a situational back now.

I would have rather gotten a quality CB and pass rushing D-Lineman and maybe try to pick up a good tackling hard hitting LB in the draft and maybe a diamond in the rough O-lineman.

Lol Cadet and Hightower are not with us anymore

Lol he don't know who on the team

Nah I don't generally follow off season moves as close as some and they were on the team at the end of the season and I hadn't gotten an alerts to my phone saying they were gone so I assumed they were still with us. I really don't start paying attention closer until around those mid late July training camps other than the draft. I don't give a shit about the combine and all that either.

Shoulda kept Hightower he was cheap, fit better with what we do, and only on like a 1.1M contract. Woulda preferred that over the 3.5M we going to be paying Peterson be going toward the defense or undrafted free agents.

The last part of what you said is why I didn't really feel the giants should have after him. That $ could be used for other holes on the roster and the fact that we have a good RB on the roster. I hear we are close to signing Blount, hope he can be our new Brandon Jacobs

Yall takin Rueben Foster in the 1st Rd with the diluted piss test?

Yep!

That nikka can shed blocks, has great vision (sees what he believes and attacks), good closing speed and is violent!

He has red flags, but he ain't leaving the 1st round. "If" he does, somebody got a str8 up steal.

Shed blocks?

I don't know about that.

Dude is a missile but has no patience.

It's best to take a High IQ MLB

Watch he end up in New Orleans. Smh

I rather us take The other Bama LB Anderson.

Boy you tripping Foster is a fucking beast.

Dude is a missile but has no patience.

So you would be pissed if saints draft him tomorrow? You taking Reddick over him?

REALLY??!?

Your MLB gotta be smart and patient and be able to make changes.

What about as a 'Will' linebacker? Cause we need that too bruh, and from what I hear, they say the dude is a 3 down linebacker who can play mike or will

Source: Alabama's Foster not invited to draft

Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was not invited to attend the 2017 NFL draft because of an incident at the NFL scouting combine in March, according to a league source.

The league declined to comment on Monday.

Foster is a potential top-10 pick in the draft, which will begin Thursday at 8 p.m. ET in Philadelphia.

Foster was sent home from the combine after getting into an argument with a hospital worker during medical checks. The NFL would only say Foster was sent home for "personal reasons." Foster later sent a letter to all 32 teams apologizing for the incident.

Foster was a unanimous first-team All-American during his final season at Alabama and also won the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation's best college linebacker.

Foster tested positive at the NFL combine for a diluted urine sample, which he said was a result of excessive water intake while he was trying to get over an illness.

"This is something that's going to get out," Foster told NFL.com. "I don't make excuses. I'm a real dude. I try to be a good person. ... I just hope the coaches understand and that's all I can hope and pray for."

Did dude have any other problems at Alabama? Anybody know what the argument was about with the medical person?

If the argument at the draft and the diluted test are the only things on his record I wouldn't give a fuck about picking dude in the 1st round where his talent says he should go.

I don't know the specifics but Mike Mayock said the situation was overblown and he shouldn't have been sent home...I'll try and find the quote

Mike Mayock thinks Reuben Foster is still a top-10 NFL draft pick after failed drug test

Reuben Foster was an All-American in 2016, but the pre-draft process has raised question marks.

by Adam Stites Apr 21, 2017, 3:26pm EDT

Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster revealed Thursday that he failed a drug test at the NFL Combine, but NFL Network’s Mike Mayock said Friday that he doesn’t believe it will do much to Foster’s draft stock.

Foster blamed food poisoning for forcing him to hydrate to the point that his urine sample was reported as diluted at the NFL Combine. The league treats that as a failed test, and Foster was later sent home from the event after a “heated argument” with a hospital worker.

"There are some red flags there,” Mayock said on a conference call. “I think the combine incident has been wiped clean by almost every team. I think that was way overdone and the kid should not have been sent home. That's my opinion and most people in the league believe that.

"As far as the diluted sample at the combine, that's always really disappointing and has to be taken into consideration. I think the shoulder is apparently going to be OK from a re-check perspective, I don't see him sliding all that far. I think he's a top-20 pick all day long in any draft. Could he have been a top-10 pick? He still might be a top-10 pick.”

The Cincinnati Bengals — owners of the No. 9 pick on Thursday — have been a popular landing spot for Foster in mock drafts. Still, a spot in the top 10 looks like an uphill climb for Foster after his recent transgressions.

Longtime NFL draft analyst Tony Pauline has heard much different of Foster in his conversations with teams.

“Reuben Foster has dropped dramatically,” Pauline wrote Friday. “The news of his failed/diluted drug test from yesterday was the icing on the cake. One team was ready to take him in the middle of Round 1 but has backed off. I’m told it’s a combination of what’s described as ‘horrible behavior,’ as well as concussion issues.”

Foster had at least two documented concussions during his time at Alabama — once in a 2016 game and another in a 2014 scrimmage — and recently underwent shoulder surgery, although his agent says the linebacker will be ready for training camp.

Foster was a unanimous All-American during his senior season in 2016 and won the Butkus Award recognizing the nation’s top linebacker. But he’ll find out next week if those accomplishments earn him a spot early in the draft order or if he’s in for a slide.

Best case we trade 5 to the Browns for 12 a second round pick and a future pick. I want Corey Davis but not at 5. Davis/Foster and Njoku in the first and Sidney Jones/Adore Jackson in the second :o

Ppl are stupid.

Plus its part of the hustle....they need storylines/drama to hype draft week.

Why u think all of a sudden "mitchell trubisky is trending fowards no 1 overall" its all reality tv.

Please let Adams fall to us or we trade up.

11th overall, Ingram and a 2nd round pick.

Somebody bite

Adams ain't falling brah...especially with all these dudes and their red flags. Dude is a safe pick with tremendous talent and great leadership and chararacter...he might not make it out the top 5...only way he comes close to dropping out of top 10 is if two QB's go early

Hahaha. You're best shot is if he get accused of rape or gets the gas mask treatment by Thursday. Btw that trade proposal wasn't bad. Seemed reasonable enough...if we dreaming I hope O.J. Howard drop to 23rd lol
