Them signing Peterson is not bad but it aint a game changer. Cant even call him a change of pace. I just hope he makes it through the season.

I am just happy they havent pulled the trigger on trade for Butler with a 1st rounder. I wouldnt do it unless it was for the second rounder or third.

This draft has in abundance all of the things they need. CB and DE. Why trade for Butler?

I really don't see how this helps us.

AP coming to a pass happy offense like ours probably wasn't smart on his part either. Teams like Baltimore and Seattle that better utilize their running game probably could have used his services more.

We already have Ingram, Murphy, Hightower, Cadet, and I think Lasco at RB. A couple of those cats are going to either be cut or relegated to the practice squad.

AP and Ingram are the type of backs that need touches to be effective, I don't know how they both get 20/25 touches with Brees throwing the ball 35/40 times a game. Sean Payton probably ain't changing his offensive philosophy. If I was Ingram I'd be livid because he's the one who'll probably end up being used more as a situational back now.

I would have rather gotten a quality CB and pass rushing D-Lineman and maybe try to pick up a good tackling hard hitting LB in the draft and maybe a diamond in the rough O-lineman.

Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook each got 11 on the Wonderlic

I just took one on line and got a 28....

If most players actually gave one single solitary fuck about the wonderlic and scored that low I would say its a problem but since most don't those scores don't mean shit

Yall takin Rueben Foster in the 1st Rd with the diluted piss test?

Yep!

That nikka can shed blocks, has great vision (sees what he believes and attacks), good closing speed and is violent!

He has red flags, but he ain't leaving the 1st round. "If" he does, somebody got a str8 up steal.

Shed blocks?

I don't know about that.

Dude is a missile but has no patience.

It's best to take a High IQ MLB

Watch he end up in New Orleans. Smh

I rather us take The other Bama LB Anderson.

Boy you tripping Foster is a fucking beast.

Dude is a missile but has no patience.

So you would be pissed if saints draft him tomorrow? You taking Reddick over him?

REALLY??!?

Source: Alabama's Foster not invited to draft

Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was not invited to attend the 2017 NFL draft because of an incident at the NFL scouting combine in March, according to a league source.

The league declined to comment on Monday.

Foster is a potential top-10 pick in the draft, which will begin Thursday at 8 p.m. ET in Philadelphia.

Foster was sent home from the combine after getting into an argument with a hospital worker during medical checks. The NFL would only say Foster was sent home for "personal reasons." Foster later sent a letter to all 32 teams apologizing for the incident.

Foster was a unanimous first-team All-American during his final season at Alabama and also won the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation's best college linebacker.

Foster tested positive at the NFL combine for a diluted urine sample, which he said was a result of excessive water intake while he was trying to get over an illness.

"This is something that's going to get out," Foster told NFL.com. "I don't make excuses. I'm a real dude. I try to be a good person. ... I just hope the coaches understand and that's all I can hope and pray for."

Did dude have any other problems at Alabama? Anybody know what the argument was about with the medical person?

If the argument at the draft and the diluted test are the only things on his record I wouldn't give a fuck about picking dude in the 1st round where his talent says he should go.

Foster and peppers had the same diluted urine cuz of over hydration. Much to do about nothing. At bama he made our defensive calls just like ever middle line backer before him McClain hightower Nico johnson cj Mosley Reggie ragland and him. He will be fine with the right coach and system.

Alot of teams will pass on foster then some team like the Seahawks drafts him and he balls out. Hope these teams actually do their own homework and dont listen to bullshit media reports.

Nah I don't generally follow off season moves as close as some and they were on the team at the end of the season and I hadn't gotten an alerts to my phone saying they were gone so I assumed they were still with us. I really don't start paying attention closer until around those mid late July training camps other than the draft. I don't give a shit about the combine and all that either.

Shoulda kept Hightower he was cheap, fit better with what we do, and only on like a 1.1M contract. Woulda preferred that over the 3.5M we going to be paying Peterson be going toward the defense or undrafted free agents.

I rather us take The other Bama LB Anderson.

The only time he has a bit of a problem getting off blocks is when a HUGE lineman gets a hold of him, but that's damn near any LB. He usually doesn't even let them get that advantage.
