We can re-sign Kirk or let him walk and I wouldn't give a damn either way.

You better hope they sign him. I wasn't sold on him before this season...but he is the best option out there. As a giants fan I hope he sign somewhere else n u guys start McCoy next year or whoever the fuck is on the depth chart

Of course u would say that, seeing as to how Kirk threw the pick to your team that destroyed our playoff chances. He's a nice qb and all, but his performances when it counts in big games and lack of red zone got me like fuck Kirk. Instead of spending 20+ mil on his ass we can spend that money on suring up our running game, O-line and especially our D.

All that shit is cool...but is a QB league...you gonna need someone who can throw the ball..kirk ain't all that..but he the best option out there. Why you think they keep him around. W/o Kirk yall back to cellar dweller status...probably a 3-4 win season

Man Motherfuck Kirk. We get our O-line, running game and D on point, we can win with a game manager qb. Be real, Kirk and all of his pass I g yards and stats still hasn't gotten us anywhere. I don't need a qb goin crazy from the 20 to the 20, put me some points on the board and help me get some w's.

2017 salary cap currently pegged at $166-169 million

Posted by Mike Florio on February 25, 2017, 1:55 PM EST

On the surface, the salary cap seems to be an objective, unambiguous formula. In reality, the specific team-by-team spending limit is finalized via back-and-forth negotiations between the NFL and the NFL Players Association.

For 2017, the final number will be announced soon, since each team must be in compliance with it by March 9. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the cap currently is expected to be in the range of $166 million to $169 million.

Last year, the cap was $155.27 million. In 2015, the cap was $143.28 million. The year before, $133 million. In 2013, it was $123 million.

Prior to that, the cap was going up much more slowly; in 2012, the cap was $120.6 million per team.

The end result, assuming the low end of the currently projected range for 2017, is a total increase of 37.6 percent in only five years. Which means a lot more money for teams to spend — and a lot more money for players to make

What if the Vikings release AP. He signs with GB. They win the super bowl this year....in...Minnesota! Talk about the best "revenge" for seeing Brett in purple

Bye bye fuck nigga

Elam, who was arrested on drug charges early this morning in Miami, becomes a free agent on March 9. And the Ravens issued a statement following his arrest making clear that they will not re-sign him.

“We are aware of the arrest of Matt Elam. Matt is not in our plans for the 2017 Ravens,” the statement says.

He gone.
