Steelers need to fix their secondary, especially the safeties (Mike Mitchell). Need a return threat on special teams. I don't want AB back there for health reasons. They also gotta find guys who can put pressure on qb's. Just stay healthy and hope to avoid the Pats in the playoffs and the squad will be ok.

Its frustrating cause we been "fixing our secondary" for the past 4 seasons...

And the secondary along with injuries have been the primary reasons for us getting bounced in the playoffs

We might need to switch to 43 defense

If you watch manning play over the years you would see the same routes and route combinations are ran with all the different offensive coordinators that coached with him.

And he change plays and Audible different routes for WRs all the time

I read a while ago he and his offensive coordinators build the gameplan with the way he wants it to go due to his film study.

My team has a offensive coordinator y the name of Pete Carmichael and I know Sean Payton builds the offensive gameplan

I'm all for it. Our DL lowkey held us down during the 9 game win streak. I think they can put pressure on qb's better than our LB's can. If our LB's ain't in blitz mode, they barely touch qb's.

9.2 Prohibited Conduct - Tampering

If a member club or any officer, shareholder, director, partner, employee, agent, or representative thereof or any person holding an interest in said club shall tamper, negotiate with, or make an offer, directly or indirectly, to a player, or his representative, on the Active, Reserve, or Selection List of another member club, then unless the offending club shall clearly prove to the Commissioner that such action was unintentional, the offending club, in addition to being subject to all other penalties provided in the Constitution and Bylaws, shall lose its selection choice in the next succeeding Selection Meeting in the same round in which the affected player was originally selected in the Selection Meeting in which he was originally chosen. If such affected player was never selected in any Selection Meeting, the Commissioner shall determine the round in which the offending club shall lose its selection choice. Additionally, if the Commissioner decided such offense was intentional, the Commissioner shall have the power to fine the offending club and may award the offended club 50% of the amount of the fine imposed by the Commissioner. In all such cases the offended club must first certify to the Commissioner that such an offense has been committed.

His impact during that stretch run with Tampa was awesome. He averaged double digit sacks for 8 seasons. His problem is his last four years was injury plagued and underwhelming.

Defensive Rookie of the year, 3 pro bowls and one NFL All pro with two second team All NFL.

Looking at who got in and who didnt. I back away from my statement. He has a long wait. Richard Dent has similar numbers and it took him 9 years to get in.
