I think that was done on purpose. Expect a lot more runs and dink/dunk passes to keep the defense off the field this season. The explosive plays will only be done when neccesary instead of most of the time like last season.

Schraeder's concussion looked pretty bad. Hope there's no long term issues for him. Glad he'll be back. Impressed with the backup OT.

That hamstring injury, with Vic, concerns me. That shit can bother him for months.

GOOD NEWS

The pass-rush is solid. A-Rod was on his ass all night.

Secondary was decent. Alford got his weekly penalty but held his own all game. Tru with the pick...Neal was great in coverage. His pass-interference was bs. It was a beautiful sight.

Offense got a few more kinks to work out but they're almost there.

So Upshaw got hurt too(ankle). Going to miss Hageman this season. Get to see what this D-line depth is about early in the season. That bye-week is clutch. Time for Takk to step up. Clayborn needs to stay healthy too.

Yea our D-Line depth being tested already. We finally have a good pass rush and we facing injuries already. Them ruling Upshaw out early in the week tells me he is probably gonna miss a couple weeks too. I really hope they bring Freeney back after this week tho. Give him 10-15 snaps late in the game. But I guess they wanna wait and see what the line looks like this week against Detroit. Everybody just gonna have to step up.

Didnt like that early bye week but now that shit coming in right on time. Beasley should only miss 3 games and be back in time for the Pats.

That's good news early season. We already know what this O capable of. We'll get there on that side of the ball. The defense stepping up in the clutch and showing us they're over their late game conditioning problems, even while missing key players.

These damn Birds gonna give me a heart attack. Defense has been a pleasant surprise early. They played a good game yesterday. Takk got his first sack and got a lot of pressure yesterday. They need to go head and let him start when Beasley gets back. Pass rush gonna be one of the best on the league.

Should have lost that game but I will say this we also should have blown Detroit out. They didnt make us punt until the forth Qtr. We either scored or turned the ball over. But a win is a win... And even though it was ugly we still won despite playing sloppy. I think we will be kicking teams ass by mid-season.
