I was hoping they would get Poe signed yesterday. Word is he looking for a multi year contract but everyone is bulking at that shit with him coming off back surgery and a down year.

Door not closed though but I will feel better if we can get him signed. We pull that off we probably wont see much else happen until after the draft.

If they don't get Poe, I can see TD moving up in the draft for a DT. The OG draft class is pretty deep this year. Those are the only two positions that need starters. One will be a FA and the other a 1st round pick.

Sprinkle in 2 or 3 backup LBs and the squad is ready.

Just got Poe...... I still think we will go DE & DT/LB in the first 2 rounds. Gurad probably come later in the 4th/5th round.

Dont expect to see much else happen until after the draft

Im hoping for DE Charles Harris at 31 in the first round. Maybe a Hybrid LB/DE in round 2 like Watt who could replace Reed and Wheeler.

OT Hugh Thorton started for the Colts but was put on IR last season. He plays Guard and Tackle. It'd be nice if he pans out or Garland/Wes can get the job done.

We might see another Andy Levitre situation. Let the cheap vets and backups compete in camp. If they arent any good, a late last minute offseason trade may already be lined up.

Those two FBs have the speed that Quinn looks for and built like the H-back that Sarkisian wants in his WCO.

Could be no more than camp bodies but both are urgent positions of need.

*Edit*

Just seen that Soma played for Sarkisian at USC. At best Thorton could be the starting RG, meaning Wes/Garland can remain as depth. At worst he can be a backup OG and Swing Tackle. All are empty roster spots at the moment. Either way it goes, killed two birds with one stone.

Falcons still waiting on Chester to officially call it quits. Looking more and more like Rounds 1 and 2 will be OG & DE.

Falcons have private workout scheduled with top offensive line prospect Forrest Lamp from Western Kentucky for next week. Falcons also working out Lamp's teammate, offensive tackle Darrell Williams Jr.(projected UDFA). Lamp projected to go in first round. Falcons, with 31st overall pick, need starting right guard after Chris Chester retired.

I thinking:

DE, OG, Hybrid LB/DE(Leo) and Safety the first four rounds. Not in that exact order tho.

They also been looking at TE's and RB's.

I see another 11-5 season. I hate the early week 5 bye though. And I hate all the late divisional games. 5 of the last 6....
