I still remember Eagles fans talking a whole lotta shit when Romo went down a couple seasons ago with that back injury, Redskins fans too. So yea no sympathy

I see this board is absent any panther talk. So,..we got cam. We picked up Shaq in the draft. That should make the strong side solid. Long as we stay healthy, best LB group in the league. We got a bend but dont break D. Means games should go down to the wire.

Just good enough to watch the O throw the game away with their 40th option run. I mean for god sakes, cam aint vick. Get a fuckin solid WR for the man. A vet, these project WR wilt under pressure.

The Eagles are going to shock the NFC this year I know Bradford is made of yarn but it's a contract year. If he doesn't play good he is not ever being signed as a starter again

Saints fans

its one game...not the end of the world

Idk about any of you all, but i watch the game for an entirely different reason. I couldnt care less about the final score.

I liked how they moved Peat around to both guard and tackle spots and he won practically all his matchups. This is what people need to be on the lookout for. Can the OL give Drew the time he needs to make reads.

Defensively, I was encouraged by the play of some of the non starters b/c I can remember how well Gallette played before he finally got a roster spot. Those dudes play wit ha real passion, and you can see it with every down. The hunger is there and so is the effort. I've always enjoyed watching the unknowns try to compete and make the roster.

Everyone should know that the defenses and offenses are going to be very vanilla, so i cant even get mad at "blown coverages" per se, but im looking at tackling in open field, shedding blockers, gap assignments etc...

One thing that I did find unsettling was the amount of penalties. thats just discipline and coaching, but again, this is what these games are for to hopefully iron that stuff out

my 2 cents

Any true NFL fan knows that in preseason, the score don't mean shit. It's really all about how the first team - and an extent, the back-ups - operate.

The rest of the time, it's guys vying for practice squad, special teams, and emergency spots.

JD always laughs at major injuries.

He the type of nigga a Eagle, Skin or giant could die and he'll be lmaoo ing lol smh.

The second unit was encouraging even though they did not go against the ones. Kasim and Anthony Spencer ran through the Ravens 2nd string OL like they were paper. Eules out of Misstake showed that he could actually hold the line up. Damian Swann showed his promise as a backup CB. If he keeps playing like that he will be supplanting SJB.

But the score that counted was 14-0. That first half was awful. Terrell Suggs called them mfer soft.

"It's hard to start the season any better than that," Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs said. "The only thing we could have done better is to have some turnovers. Having two or three three-and-outs from the ones. I think we can live with that. And, we didn't have a lot of our starters in, so this is a good thing to build on."

The Ravens could have ran the ball every play if they wanted to. They were getting 5 yards per carry on every play. Linebackers making tackles 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. Having Hicks out doesnt help but DAMN!

Neither did Spiller or Colston. The offense I really am not too concerned pass the Guards looked overmatched at times. KRob, Cooks, M. Murphy and Willie Snead impressed.

Spencer has been rehabbing a bum knee for damn near two years. Kasim Embali is a rookie undrafted player out of Indiana that has been showing promise. Just like Junior Gallette wnet undrafted. The two guys that will end up I think playing DT is Eules and Hicks. Eules a rookie actually played great against the twos. Hicks DNP.

Swann is a rookie that need to learn how to play close. He has potential and that is good enough to work on. He is maybe the 5th CB on the roster.

Even when he does in the regular season the Ravens crush the Saints.
