No one mentioning Kaepernick.

You cant tell me with a elite D and at least 1 young go-to WR (Crabtree was not that) he couldn't repeat what he did in SF.

Kansas City, Texans, hell even the Jets could have him compete. All those teams have top shelf D's with QBs with clear ceilings.

He's not done, teams are just spoiled by instant success

And its sad man. Brady and Rothlisberger started off similar! !! It took both those dudes 4, 5 years as starters to actually start puttin up guady numbers.

What success he had. Alex Smith brought that team to the NFCCG too.

Kaep numbers was never great. He was slightly below average.

Bum ass Gabbert came in and pinup better numbers then Kaep. And he's not good himself.

you fucking bugging with this shiti never heard people talk so much shit about him until he literally lost his whole team

Never know what you got until it's gone and you end up with a Shannahan.

I still think Lovie should've got one more year to rebuild that defense.

A Falcons fan letting y'all know how good he is with offenses. We would have lost him, and Lovie. You don't do that top your rookie franchise (hopefully) QB

Shit look kinda fishy tho if Koetter take over. Makes you wonder if he stabbed Lovie in the back to ownership. Lovie isn't that good of a HC to me, but I think it's disgusting that Jeff Fisher gets unlimited time to run two different franchises into mediocrity.

Jamies and Dirk aren't even cool like that though? He's more cool with the QB coach. How much do you really know about your team? So now all the credit for Jamies play is because of Dirk? Lovie ain't have anything to do with that?

How much sense does this make? Fire the coach because we scared we gonna lose the assistant. They can still lose Dirk to the Dolphins. Tannebum is their GM and he used to be Dirks agent. What if he goes to Miami? Then what they gonna do?

Everywhere he's been they got beef. Had beef with the front office in DC. had beef with the front office in Cleveland. Now he got beef in ATL.

I'm really wondering if Fisher's job on the competition committee for the NFL is somehow giving this a guy a pass. Teh Redskins gifted this nigga top draft picks. You got a monster d line and losing to Blaine Gabbert. Fucking mystery how this dude is still employed in the NFL.

Dude had ONE winning season his entire career. White privilege is a mothafucka.

Me and my cousin that's a Bucs fan was just talking about this a couple months ago, saying that we hoped that Tampa would let Lovie stick around and build with Jameis. Lovie was the perfect coach for Jameis and helped aid in his maturity. As a FSU fan to see Jameis turn around from doing dumb nigga ish his last season in Tallahassee to becoming a model citizen in the league was refreshing. Lovie's temperament helped keep that boy from doing Manziel-esque fuckery this season and the team improved greatly. The nfl aint fair, but I guess life aint either.

Hit me with the link about winston koetter beef.

And hell ya I'm giving Koetter more credit than Lovie for Jameis. Lovie is a defensive coach. And next year of our D is nice, I'll gone the DC more credit for that then Koetter. Our defense is TRASH under Lovie too.

And I'm pretty sure they spoke to Dirk about being HC before firing Lovie.

Kaep is trash.

Go check the stats.

Look at the games. Even other defenders was saying Gabbert is better

Boldin didn't say it but damn near say Gabbert is the future for San Fran

I think things like this are downplayed, didn't Vernon Davis have some slick shit to say too? Would all of those 9ers have retired at the same time if Kaep was a quarterback they respected and could keep them in contention year in year out? I think if there's signs of locker room issues then odds are he's not going to succeed, you don't even have to be the voice of the locker room like Joe Flacco for example but if your teammates hate you they aren't going to play for you, Houston was a prime example this year with Mallett and Hoyer, Hoyer might not be as gifted an athlete but keeps his face in the playbook and works his ass off where Mallett was the complete opposite and was the worst qb in the league and the team suffered because of it, this isn't Madden where you can put a bunch of guys with high player ratings together and win a supetbowl, give Kaepernick an o line and two big receivers and he'll be good? You can say that about 95% of the quarterbacks in the league

Saints defense broke the record for allowing the most passing TD in a season. They also at one point was having rookie and second tier QBs put gaudy numbers against them. DC got fired and HC got extension.

Your Defensive problem aint got shit to do with his firing.

Lovie Smith took a offensive challenged Bears to the Super Bowl and had them consistently above .500. Either they had a fallout they nobody knows about or they have someone in line. But firing a coach with history for a OC with no experience is not winning football.

Payton is an offensive coach though, so it's different. If Saints offende was the main thing holding them back, Payton might be gone.

How do our defensive problems have nothing to do with it? You're a defensive coach, in charge of defensive play calling, and your defense is TERRIBLE. But that's irrelevant? come on man.

I get the no experience point, but every coach in the league came into his first HC role with no experience. He is familiar with the nfl though. Not like he's a random college's WR coach being a NFL head coach.
