The running game was bad but when it was needed for those conversions. It came through. Pierre Thomas put his head down and ran through those tackle like it was a gauntlet drill.

With that said....the running game is still 10 times better when Ingram is in street clothes. One thing I did notice is that Evans was getting around easier than the earlier games. Looked great on that screen pass for the TD.

Love the Defense. Can't say enough about how happy I am with that facet of our team. Brady not being able to pass Brees was the icing on the cake I aint never scream for a team that wasn't the Saints (or wasn't a team beating the Falcons) in my life. LOL. That record is gone last for a long time....closest active QB to him is Peyton with 28 games.

New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Jay Richardson's tenure with the team didn't last long. Richardson, who was re-signed Sept. 12 after being cut in the preseason, was released Tuesday to make room for defensive end Keyunta Dawson.

Dawson (6-3, 258) was released by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. Dawson has 117 tackles and one sack in his career, but hasn't compiled any tackles during his two games in Tennessee this season.

The Saints re-signed Richardson in Week 2 before the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to aid depth to an ailing defensive line. He played only 11 snaps on defense against Tampa Bay, four against the Arizona Cardinals, and had only special teams snaps against the Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears.

Richardson is more suited to play as a 3-4 linebacker, while Dawson played as a 4-3 defensive end in Tennessee. Dawson, a former Evangel standout, saw defensive snaps and special teams snaps in Weeks 3 and 4 for the Titans.

Hate to see Richardson go but Dawson from Shreveport. Welcome home playa!

So i came in here before the season and tol yall we was challenging Keenan about opposing wr numbers against him

so lets see

Roddy White-2 catches 19 yds

Vincent Jackson-5 catches 77 yards

Larry Fitz-5 catches 64 yds

Mike Wallace-3 catches 24 yds

Brandon Marshall-4 catches 30 yds 1 td

now he is not covering them the whole game...but u see in 5 games maybe gave up only 1 td

Should we continue to challenge him?

who should we target now....if Gronk he says expect same type of D gameplan as when they play atl........but with really no deep threat it makes it easier on them to watch the te

Say man I just saw that Atlanta has allowed the same amount of points scored against them as we have scored against our opponents. 134 points. Hey man bout time they play again. the tickets for that game should be on giveaway status.

Got damn!

This has to be the worst efficiency EVER Pierre had running the football for this team. I wonder what's the reason for this dramatic drop off in production? No way it could be the offensive line cause that's the Mark Ingram defenders excuse. Maybe, just maybe, Pierre isn't running though the holes with enough authority or he's just not seeing the holes because he's always running into the back of his blockers?

Bad play calling all game.

Especially the last two series.

I can't even get mad at the D right there....Offense can't go 3 & out twice when the D gives you the ball back. You can't give Brady more than 30 seconds on the clock even with out timeouts. I blame the playcalling all the way. D did more then enough to give you the game Offense pissed it away. Fuckin sick right now...

Thing that pissed me off the most too was the fact that they have so many weapons but kept trying to force throws to Graham. Maybe if they would have targeted Stills, Watson more since they were effective and ran the ball when clearly that was effective when cuz the didn't have any DTs, instead of forcing those targets to Graham it would have went a different way and even opened Graham up later on like it ending up opeining up in the Dolphins game when they tried to shut him down.... Especially after Talib went out....

That bootleg at the end tho......like WTF was that?
