How good or bad this season turns out depends on Rob Ryan and how our players respond in this scheme. Aready know the offense will keep us in every game. A solid defense will land us back in the promise land.

Roby was my man but shoutout to tanner for finally gettin that roster spot. Im glad that we got younger but since roman harper is still here I hope he produces along with malcolm thomas in ryan's scheme.

Dont wanna see missed tackles this season and Im just anxious to see how much better the defense will be and it just feels good to know Payton back.

11-5

Here is hoping they sign Jay Richardson to the practice squad.

The New Orleans Saints have signed six players to their practice squad, the team announced on Sunday.

Quarterback Ryan Griffin, wide receiver Saalim Hakim, tight end Michael Higgins, fullback Austin Johnson, offensive lineman Marcel Jones and cornerback Jumal Rolle were waived Saturday and signed to the practice squad on Sunday.

This was the win against ATL. Best believe it will be a passing fest against some rookie cbs and samuels bum thigh.

I wanna see a lot of 3 WRs sets with Stills.

Jimmy working the middle and Thomas or Sproles coming out the back field should open it up for Stills.

Toon and Colston size will be a problem for these Rookie CBs

I see Meachum got cut by the Chargers I wouldn't mind seeing us pick him back up if we could for cheap.

Hell no.

He would take the boy Tanner spot.

Son worked to hard for that bum as nigga to come back and probably take some pt from him.

I also saw in an interview he did with SD media earlier in the yr that his body was breaking down on him....so yeah if he admitting he got LHD he might as well keep it moving. Its clear Payton is going with the youth movement.....same type of players as before just younger & faster.

I can assure you one or more of those niggaz are going to get hurt and not be able to go a few games.

It happens every year like clockwork.

That's why I suggested a player like him whose been here and knows Payton's system.

Sign his ass to a vet minimum and put him on the practice or something.

Henderson> Meacham

no diss to you Crude, but i got a group text convo on my phone with a bunch of my xbl friends who are also saints fans and they keep saying bring meachum back and im like "but why?"

they on some "lets bring the band back together" shit. Just based off preseason alone i would take Toon, Stills, and Tanner over him. There is a reason San Diego decided to cut him despite still owing him $5M dollars left on his deal

Trust me bro I'm no Meachum stan.

That nigga is an average receiver that Drew Brees and Sean P made look better than he actually was due to the system.

I agree Henderson is a much better receiver but is he even available?

Again the only reason I said Meachum is because he knows our system and can be serviceable.

I like Stills, Toon, and Tanner too.

Put them with Colston, L. Moore, and Graham whose basically another receiver there at TE we got a core that can take us into the future.

I hope I'm wrong but I expect a couple of those niggaz to get nicked up and have to miss some action and that's were Meachum could come into play.

yea Henderson is available. he got released by the skins

BUT, my point is, this team isnt heavily dependent on receivers though. With Graham, Sproles, Pierre, Watson, and the fullback all able to catch passes, who cares if Meachum is familiar with the play book. Drew can throw the ball to at least 10 people already. There is only so much to go around.

Bruh I am damn near twitching like a feen waiting on the game. Brees gone light them niggas up like a christmas tree. Who the fuck they think they fooling with two rookies CB and and a backup nickel back behind A. Samuels. To add on A. Samuel still got a thigh bruise he trying to heal. Like I called him in the NFL thread. That nigga is the walking wounded.

Alford is going to be good but Trufant bout to get his lunch ate and his cornbread took. Those safeties bout to lose their luster also. The only thing I am worried about is the running game. Ingram still aint showed me he can carry the load. P. Thomas and Sproles are still better options.

If they run the ball well. All that exotic shit they tried last time will be null.

I'm intrigued by the Saints new offensive schemes Sean Payton supposedly cooked up while he was suspended. Its been said he have new formations and everything. Shit has me too amped.

Lol I saw that to Porter needed to go just like Roman Harper shoulda been cut in the preseason.

Nigga is as horrible a safety as I've ever seen in pass coverage yet he finds a way to make our roster every year.

Will Smith getting hurt may have been a blessing in disguise.

I hated to see him get hurt but he is getting old and cant get pressure on the QB in passing situations.

Someone I don't see fans complaining about that I think is overrated is Mark Ingram.

I wish we'd flip his ass in a trade for a solid d-lineman.

From what I've seen

PT, Sproles, Cadet > Ingram

The only reason I'd even consider keeping him is to have depth at that position.

Those RBs get nicked up a lot through the course of a season thats the only place I see his value right now.

So, instead of using Vilma's roster space on a outside linebacker we instead use it to bring back Robert Meacham bum ass? Sean Payton and his fucking loyalty card man I tell ya.
