@AP12 Ingram will never be an effective rusher is our system Sean Payton runs a spread offense predicated on everyone getting touches.

Ingram is the type of back that needs 15-20 touches a game to be effective.

He'll never get that in N.O.

Backs like PT and Sproles are more of the prototypical backs for our system.

Both are guys that can run, block, and catch passes out of the backfield.

Look at Sproles he even returns kicks on special teams at times.

Ingram will never be that guy here imo.

Hicks is a MAN.....and you can see Big John Jenkins taking up 3 ofensive lineman to open up them lanes.

I'm telling you that DL of Hick, Jenkins, Jordan is the future. & with Walker & Foster backing up in at that DE position....man......

I'm starting to agree with people now that Ingram doesn't fit our system. He's a rhythm running back that needs the ball in volumes to be successful. Our o-line had a terrible game blocking overall IMO and didn't really help the cause but Ingram tripping over his own feet in the hole untouched kinda got me looking at dude like "really bruh?"

Glad you seeing the light.

But I still got faith in dude and will not turn on him just because of one bad game.

last season?
http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/no/year/2012

Led the team in rushing yards, first downs, runs over 20 yards, and rushing TDs? Everybody always complains because his yards per carry ain't 6 yards a run and shit. Dude can play in this league but our system doesn't fit him because we always rotating backs every play.

Yeah those stats are cool but they dont tell the whole story. It might be unfair to say hes trash instead of he doesnt fit our system but anybody whos been watching can see he isnt the best back we have for our squad. Despite the stats saying hes our best back based off of last season.

One could argue that his stats are better because of the number of attempts and how many of Ingram's touchdowns came from the goal line?(Seriously asking, cant find out)

Come on bruh, you asking questions you should already know the answer too since that's ALWAYS been his designated role in our offense.

With veteran Brodrick Bunkley reportedly expected to miss several weeks with a calf injury, Jenkins will likely be expected to start in the middle. Bunkley went down early against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, forcing the Saints to call on their third-round draft pick.

I'm actually glad Jenkins is gonna get to start cuz he's a pure 3-4 NT. But....I do worry about depth. Jenkins is a rookie and he's a BIG boy...he'll get tired

I do think they'll be ok tho if Foster comes back fairly soon. Hicks saw a good amount of time @ NT so they can rotate.

#Saints re-sign DE Jay Richardson, bolstering depth along the line |http://bit.ly/1banOJ5 (More to come after practice)

I assume that means Walker might be headed to IR. I think we'll still be alright though. Richardson did very well in preseason was actually surprised he got cut...

Fa real, they cut dude in favor of Andy Tanner when they knew it was highly unlikely that Tanner would even see the field? Sean Payton be tripping with this offense over defense bullshit sometimes.

Well apparently they did cut Tanner to make room for Richardson so....
