We should have kept Tanner and never resigned that bum Meacham.

Fa real, I still don't understand the point of Meachem when we got our youngins' ready to show the league what they can do? We're only gonna use 4 wide receivers anyway? If Nick Toon or Kenny Stills are benched in favor of Robert Meachem this week I'm gonna be pissed.

Glad you seeing the light.

But I still got faith in dude and will not turn on him just because of one bad game.

Im waitin on your "turn on him" Post.

I know it will come sooner or later

Not happy about this Win at all...

Did robinson injure the same knee he had arthroscopic surgery on? Either way it looked season ending. Hopefully Im wrong

Sloppy game

Defense is doing the Damn thing.

They allowed one TD and that was set up by a short field on the first pick..

A win is a win

Got to get more balanced on offense, with the game Brees was having we shouldve leaned on the run game more. Ingram touches need to go to someone else.

This O-line is starting to bother me

That's the fucking problem, this o-line is vastly overrated. They provide absolutely no push at the line of scrimmage in the run game. It's fucking embarrassing that we can be that good passing the football but it still doesn't contribute to opening up ANY running lanes for our running backs. It's fucking shameful that being a great passing team still doesn't help this team run the football better.

I agree. We lost too much chemistry on the line these past few years. We'd find these diamond in the rough kind of guys and play them. They get really good then when contract time comes we can't afford all of them. I get its a business. I saw this line struggling once Nicks left. I know people like Brees have to get paid but was it worth it. The guys we have don't have that balanced chemistry like we used to. Now as far as the running game, we can do better. Just shows you how good and underrated Pierre Thomas is. Even though we don't get good blocking in the run game he has vision that makes up for it. Ingram is struggling because of it. Starting to wonder if that's the "real" reason he isn't doing so great but he does tip toe a lot instead of finding a hole and hitting it.

Overall, I have to give major props to the defense they stepped up like a mofo. They only allowed one score which was due to a Brees interception in our territory. Payton shoulda kicked that field goal before halftime but I get Brees wanting to go for it. He's competitive like that and he most def. made up for it at the end of the game with that last drive.

If this o-line don't get their shit together this team is not going very far in the NFC. You can't be a unbalanced, one-dimensional team trying to beat teams like the Packers, Seahawks and 49ers. Pierre Thomas sneaking out a few yards behind atrocious blocking is good and all (whoopty fucking doo), but it's still not going to be enough to win games against teams like this.

I agree with this.....

With that said.....u can't tell me we wouldn't have got that TD at the Goal line if SP would gave that touch to PT. Ingram had just enough room to push the nose of that ball through but he bitched out. That was just a soft ass play on his part real talk.

And another thing. Evans is not healthy....I've never seen him get as many penalties and beat as much as he has his entire career. People forget he didn't play the last 2 preseason games and came out of the game last night to get checked out. Apparently they taped up his thigh...if he can't get no leverage he's gonna get beat and not be able to help De La Puenta hold down his guy in the middle.

yea the OLine play is spotty at best, but i still think PT gives them a better opportunity than Ingram. Its just not working and his value will never be as high as it is today, so they need to call Indy and see what they can get for him

Co sign....if anything we need to be trying to shop him cuz out DL are going down like flies. Let Khiry Robinson dress out and give Ingram spot to someone on D that can actually help us.

Lol I saw that to Porter needed to go just like Roman Harper shoulda been cut in the preseason.

Nigga is as horrible a safety as I've ever seen in pass coverage yet he finds a way to make our roster every year.

Will Smith getting hurt may have been a blessing in disguise.

I hated to see him get hurt but he is getting old and cant get pressure on the QB in passing situations.

Someone I don't see fans complaining about that I think is overrated is Mark Ingram.

I wish we'd flip his ass in a trade for a solid d-lineman.

From what I've seen

PT, Sproles, Cadet > Ingram

The only reason I'd even consider keeping him is to have depth at that position.

Those RBs get nicked up a lot through the course of a season thats the only place I see his value right now.

^^^Prophet like posting on my part.

Ingram shoulda been traded for a solid d-lineman before the season even started some niggaz didn't want to listen to me then though.

I also said Will Smith getting hurt on that defensive line might be a blessing in disguise and after seeing our defensive line I don't see how some of y'all didn't see that.

We got younger and more athletic on the front.

I do agree that our o-line has to play better though.

As we start to play the Seattle's and San Francisco's of the league that line is going to have to be able to give Brees more time in the pocket and run block better as well.

You not beating those teams with Brees throwing the ball 50 times.
