england avg again...

Wilshere played well though...and they played better w/o Rooney

Either start Rooney upfront or bench him, hasn't looked good wide or at 10

England just bores the shit out of me these days, fell asleep twice watching the match. First time I woke back up they went off for some lightning break, the second time was in injury time and it was still 0-0. Fuck England and fuck all these friendlies.

Chelsea line up Didier Drogba transfer 'home' to the Bridge after the World Cup

Didier Drogba is set to return to Chelsea this summer.

The 36-year-old striker is out of contract at Galatasaray, and the Blues boss Jose Mourinho has never disguised his hopes of re-signing the powerful Ivory Coast star.

And the reunion could arrive soon after Drogba completes his World Cup duties in Brazil.

Drogba was signed by Chelsea in 2004 for £24million from Marseille and in seven years at the west London club, he scored 157 goals in 341 appearances.

His last kick for Chelsea was to score the crucial penalty in the shoot-out against Bayern Munich in the 2012 Champions League Final.

The Ivory Coast international then moved to China and, after a contract dispute, on to Galatasaray.

Mourinho wants him back, initially as a player, but there could be a coaching role for Drogba in the future.

Mourinho is also keen to recruit a second Atletico Madrid player.

He is close to landing £32million striker Diego Costa. Next, he wants central defender Miranda.

The asking price is unlikely to be much more than £10m for a player who will be 30 in September and who has two years remaining on his contract at the La Liga champions.

Mourinho feels that his battling qualities will be ideal for the Premier League in England.
