I wouldn't say the worst. Just average. Plus he was thrown into a sloppy ass mess of a situation. Lakers went out trying to throw a all star "team" together without figuring out how the parts would work.

I think he could go to a rebuilding team, draft his kind of players, and turn them into a playoff team.

hell yea a Celtics/Knicks series is goin 6 games minimum they wont bulldoze us period, i wouldnt be surprised if we won da series actually. If we was to slide to 8 nd play Miami we would play em hard but i have no confidence in beatin them in a series lls

But that's what I'm saying, good coaches don't use the "he doesn't fit my system" excuse. Good coaches know how to utilize and maximize the talents of the players on their roster.

He excelled in Phoenix because he did have the ideal players for his "system" Steve Nash, a healthy Stoudemire, a young Shawn Marion, Barbosa, Joe Johnson ect.....

New York was awful with him at the helm, as soon as they made the change to Mike Woodson with the same roster the results were astounding

Now this dude was out here trying to have Gasol hover around the 3 point line and play like Dirk......

This team plays with no motivation or heart @ all, i haven't seen lakers play D since after 2010...... They definitely won't amnesty Kobe. This team definitely needs a full roster that will play with heart and motivation, not just four or five players.
