How many teams have won trophies without an English CB?...You def can't win the league without one...even the cup competitions are difficult...For 8/10 mil you could ge Jagielka...you could have had Smalling for 12 mil...Shawcross is OK..not great...but still had that presence you'd need...

left back is a prob area for us...and this is a controversial view but vermalean ( who is likely the captain now) and Szczesny need to b better this season they were weak spots imo last season...dont fully trust either...TV is exciting but isnt disciplined enough for a CB...

Jageilka is better than Koz...and he's not too far of Verm...Who is a solid defender...nothin' more...Smalling could very easily be the next Rio...givin' his composure on the ball...although it was him that allowed Kompany to score that header against us with virtually handed them the title...
