South American national teams got most of the world cup titles (Brasil,Argentina, Uraguay,etc), if Europe is so great why did they get dusted in the world cup so much. During Pele's era, the only European team to win shit was Germany, if Spain, England,etc were so good why did not win world cups?

Lets not act as if money isn't the major issue with it comes to Euro football verses these other leagues, not skill or ability. Pump the same money, advertisement, and hype into any league that UEFA has and nuture young talent with the money europe has and i guarantee you South American leagues would be on the same level. Also for South American players like Messi, Sergio Aquero, etc to stay in their home country.

Take away all the So. American players from Europe and the game of soccer would look completely different. Money is the only reason why these players leave So. America, not because European leagues are better.

Messi is playing in the European champions league, against the BEST TEAMS IN EUROPE. Pele could only play his competition, the world was much different than back then. STILL when Pele played on the worlds stage in the World Cup, he excelled at it and won numerous world cup.

WORLD CUP > EUROCUP> LEAGUE TITLES = no matter which fucking way you cut it, especially when La Liga is pretty much a two horse race.

Stop your George Best excuse, Maradona damn near won a World Cup by himself. Plus what's Messi's excuse, he plays with world class players with Argentina and flames out in World Cup, Confederation Cup and Copa America play.
