Yo they should re-release the original Matrix in 3D, If Lion King, Titanic and Episode I got a re-release, so should this. I only got flagged cause somehow this was posted in the Reason but I swore I put lights,camera,action. Oh well. Classic Movie and the sequels were not that bad, they weren't flawless like the original so people over analyze the flaws. Also it was just as sci-fi as it was philosophy. The Matrix was one of the only blockbusters that actually had you thinking about life as a whole once you left the theater. Also I loved "Inception", amazing movie but it's not seeing the original Matrix.

I loved the "Animatrix" really helped me understand the whole mythology more. Another thing people forget, The Matrix was rated "R", so for the series to blow like it did was amazing, it was hitting that Star Wars demo even though it was mad violent. I remember little kids sneaking into "Reloaded". If they dropped "The Matrix 4" in 3D it would shut the box office down even though people act like the sequels were weak, they line right up. That's how much impact this series had.

Yea they dropped the ball on the games. "Path of Neo" was straight but the one with Jada, I think it was "Enter the Matrix" wasn't that great. For all you computer heads, "The Matrix Online" is suppose to be dope though they shut it down.

Inception has more in common with Dreamscape and Paprika than The Matrix. If anything The Matrix is indebted to Ghost In The Shell - the digital green rain, cyberspace, philosophical questioning about human existence in relation to technology and the virtual realm, plugging yourselves into machines in the back of your neck and head, numerous similar scenes, etc.

#1 - The Matrix Online was ASS. The Wachowskis were gonna "officially" continue the story in that game and the whole shit flopped horrible. Niggas turned Morpheus into a villain and shit, female agents, get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

#2 - The Matrix fan-made mods for Max Payne 1 were GOAT and way better than the real games.

#3 - Shoulda been the new Star Wars but the sequels were ass. But you already knew that. The whole story just went off the rails. Those fucking rave and architect scenes. Me and the Wachowskis got beef.

#4 - Inception IS better. All that philosophy shit ppl always shower The Matrix with praise for? Inception did all that better, while adding MORE substance AND making the whole thing a allegory for film making in general. Catch feelins.

#5 - God, remember how they handled the death of the actress who played The Oracle? They coulda really flipped it and made the "I had to get a new body" excuse work by casting a weird looking guy or a lil kid to play the role, BUT NO, these dumb muhfuckas just grabbed another old black lady.

#6 - I'm pretty sure there's a alternate universe where the sequels surpassed the original. Prolly the same universe where Biggie lived and trashed all those old Neptune and Timbaland beats. I'd love to move there.
