ANd I had to laugh. You make it seam like he was many great m.c.s rolled up in one man, when actually 2pac THA TRUE GOAT is that multi talented rapper. Jay is a dope rapper but sounds damn near the same,no matter what he's discussing. 2pac could do that smooth jay-z/snoop playa shit (temptations,how do you want it etc). He could spit that clear deep shit like scarface (it ain't easy,my block,krazy) He could come left field with the unpredicatble innovation of a nas (though pac's way above him too) (brenda's got a baby,tear drops and closed caskets, ) He could come with that explosive shit like a dmx (pain,hell razor,etc) Jay can't match 2pac and has ample time to do so. he knows he hasn't proved it to the general public. That's why you'll hear songs like "what more can i say", then 6 years later "reminder". He's in total disbelief that he is not the undisputed goat. He needs to try harder. He has more b.s. rap songs than 2pac, i'll give him that. Meaning he has more songs where he rambles on about nothing in an attempt to show his lyrical skills . He's a great bull shitter. 2pac knew that being direct with depth, creative details and realsim was more effective than excessive metaphors,double entandras (however you spell it) and other b.s.. he spoke on this in an interview. This is why jay has to tell you he's the best and make songs telling you again to try and convince, while the real GOAT never said he was the GOAT,not once. He was elected by the people and his title remains. Jay's music at best is like a well written movie with a nice setting and capped off by awful acting. At worst it has no plot at all. Explanation: On excuse me miss he sounds like he's in the exact same mood as talking about street shit (not 100% but often). Songs like lucky me sounds forced and downright fradulent (no soul at all). His new album is basically a mixtape (some remade songs by rhianna,kanye,kid cudi,young jeezy etc). Jay might be the smartest rapper ever when it comes to hustling, but you get what you work for. 2pac wanted to be felt by the masses and he is the MOST felt rapper ever with the most relevant songs. Jay wanted to make money while fooling the public however he could and he achieved that. His scheme is hidden fom untrained brains but i peep game. Comes out with a run of the mil drug album and flops. Comes back with a strategy similar to master p's. Master p seen the gap 2pac left and start biting him left and right "lord knows,picture me ballin" "dear mamma,keep ya head up,from the cradle to the grave" (actual P lyrics). Jay makes his 2nd album mimicking the bad boy flava,prematurely claiming king of the city and eventually filling biggie shoes by biting him left and right for years to come. (no examples needed). He calls this paying homage,yet later he claims he's better than the man he was biting. If you didn't hear him say that,listen to WHAT MORE CAN I SAY("no i ain't get shot a whole bunch of times" "excluding nobody"I should be 1st on everybody list,let's see what happens when i no longer exist "').Who he talking about? 2pac did none of that cock shit and song for song can not be matched by anyone.
