H-Rap 180;2882260 said:Why do you have so much anger in your heart towards J.Cole?
J.Cole has never hurt anyone and he says the only reason he got into the game was to bring us happiness through his music, and he tries harder than any other artist alive to bring us joy through his lyrics and production.
Do you despise him because you are afraid he wil become a legend and outshine your favorite rapper?

If you like his Music just enjoy it don't try force his Music on people that don't enjoy it

I don't throw out co-signs for everybody and I been had Kendrick Lamar heavy in rotation but it's something in J. Coles music that connected with me like the first time my older brother played me Tupac.
...my bro said he wack and that JayZ put subliminal messages in the music to make people like it...I said Negro-please.
You dont get that vibe bruh??

Bigavelli;2883110 said:A Hooks purpose is to be catchy Hooks always should be Melody driven
I don't think people have a problem with J Cole Singing even though he can't Sing it's the fact even when he tries to Sing he fails at making the Hook's sound catchy or inspiring it comes across too manifactured
Forget charisma for a second
Lets say there is a Topic J Cole Rapped about in a Song that was very relatable J Cole lacks the Emotion, Passion and Delivery to make the listerner think wow that touched me i realy felt his pain
Jay Z is the only Rapper who has been succesful with sales, Hit Singles and mainstream success that has lacked any Emotion or Deep Content
For everyone else who been succesful that is essential
J. Rob;2882047 said:What people are failing to see is that J. Cole has the following that he has right now because he's NOT what y'all are saying he should be. He appeals to the ANTI-mainstream crowd (hence the backlash he's getting for "Work Out"). They like him because he DOESN'T rely on a backstory or a gimmick. He's the backpack savior right now, just like Lupe was back in 2006. All the things y'all are saying he SHOULD do will do nothing but alienate his fan base. J. Cole and Roc Nation both need to accept that he's not a mainstream rapper...they should just milk this huge backpack-type following he has for all it's worth...he has the potential to be the biggest "underground star" we've ever seen and I really don't think there would be anything wrong with that.
rap doctor;2883150 said:What I don't undestand is why cuz still in here talking bout what he doesn't like about Cole. You just told people to listen to what they like and i don't think your opinion is going to change theirs so what's your purpose
rap doctor;2883162 said:this right here solidified that you aint up on Cole to even make an educated statement on him
