Well Doggystyles sales trippled or something when he went on trial for murder

2pac wouldn't be 2pac with out his struggles

The more you been through in your life the more people will relate the more Emotion your Music will have the more the puiblic with feel emotionally attached

Jesus your dumb, the murder charges had nothing to do with his back stroy for one thing and Doggystyle been had success before the murder charge. He caught that charge going into The Dogfather album.

No one knew Pac's back story or struggles like that off bat, Pac didn't come into his own until Me against the world which was his 3rd album.

Learn some fucking rap history and stop fucking talking out your pancake ass. None of those dudes had a backstory off bat!

When Snoop, Pac,etc where coming intot he game, did no one know shit about their backstory, so stop the fucking revisionist bullshit. It's just you A.D.D niggas and internet age mfs need some stupid gimmick because the music is WWE status now, ya'lll can't just sit down and appreciate good music without a bs story attached to it.

Snoop was going through a court trial after the chronic and around when doggystyle was dropping for a shooting incident and he had a gang banger gangsta background its packaged in his image

2pac was having police troubles before his first LP and on his run with digital underground, plus well known for black pride again packaged in his image

It's only in the last few years that back storys have been manufactured to mean less, why you so angry ?

If the person delivering your rap/messages/jewels came from hardship and obstacles it makes his words much more potent, its for your benefit.

J Cole has no image other than he went to college and decide he wanted to rap.

All that and the main aspect being he is a below average Rapper that can't craft Song's, has terrible Production and wack Hook's that are not catchy

The content is not interesting at all

Coles mom did crack.. and his dad wasnt around and he was dead broke chasing a dream.... i wish you would answer the other questions as well im not trying to be rude, but im beginning to assume you really dont know what your talking about ,prove me wrong man please..I need an examples of a, a superior rhyme scheme, content, or delivery bro

Ok my fave Artist is Eminem and the main reason is

Eminem makes Music talking about his struggles that he went through that the average person has been through and he put's raw Emotion in the Music but makes it sound cathy too with the Hook's over great Production

For example Mockingbird is a really deep Song but the Hook makes it catchy and emotiol which is why it was a HIt

It's about balance

Ok i like Rhyme Schemes i like Multi's

But i'm not gonna get a microscope and print out Lyrics and study all that

My fave aspects of a Song are the Content, the Emotion, Melody/Catchy Hook blended with good Lyricism and good Production

The Content doesn't have to always be deep you can't have an Album where every damn Song is deep as fuck

'Superman' is 1 of my fave Eminem Song's

But didn't Em live in one? I coulda sworn I saw that in 8 mile

No that was just in the movie it was not an autobiography movie remember Eminem had a sister in the movie and also worked in a Power Plant but in real life he doesn't have a sister and never worked in a Plant

This is the house Eminem grew up in on Dresden Street

Eminem lived in a house through section 8 he never lived in a Trailor

Now J Cole has actually said in his Music he grew up in a Trailor Park

Eminem never ever has said in any of his Song's he grew up in a Trailor

It was just in the movie not in his actual real life

Or are you just not feeling his delivery? i can understand that completely cause he has content, multis, and a good backstory

What people are failing to see is that J. Cole has the following that he has right now because he's NOT what y'all are saying he should be. He appeals to the ANTI-mainstream crowd (hence the backlash he's getting for "Work Out"). They like him because he DOESN'T rely on a backstory or a gimmick. He's the backpack savior right now, just like Lupe was back in 2006. All the things y'all are saying he SHOULD do will do nothing but alienate his fan base. J. Cole and Roc Nation both need to accept that he's not a mainstream rapper...they should just milk this huge backpack-type following he has for all it's worth...he has the potential to be the biggest "underground star" we've ever seen and I really don't think there would be anything wrong with that.

SMH so 8 Mile was a lie when it was pretty much supposed to be a documentary on his life? Em is fake

It wasn't a lie when it came out they said it was not an autobiography of Marshalls life it was a damn movie not a documentry lol

It did have some aspects of his life though but not all

Eminem since he came out has always said he grew up on both sides of the tracks he grew up in Inner City Detroit in black hoods like 7 Mile, Dresden Street, Chalmers etc

But at times also lived in Warren a Suburb just outside the City of Detroit that is predominantly white

But he never lived in a Trailor he always lived in Houses through section 8
