I have no clue, some of it is because he runs with Jay-Z i guess. And because they rather see him on another label, i've heard people refer to G.O.O.D. Music and MMG as the 'winning team', and that J. Cole should join the 'winning team', lol. I could care less where the hate comes from though, he still got my full support.

Yeah man I don't feel like Roc Nation is the move for him. As a hip hop artist you gotta have a team around you. Y'all hop on tracks together. Do dope freestyles. Set trends.

Ain't nobody at Roc Nation for him to do that with. Every body in that "freshman class" is together in some way. They get energy and support from their team.

They all chill together. But Roc Nation just ain't "poppin." Shit even Rostrum Records/Taylor Gang rocks out harder than them.

They don't want him to succeed cuz of Jay-Z cuz they know if he does succeed its a another notch in Jay-Z's belt. The fueling fire excuse that Jay-Z undercover stans got is that nobody has succeded in Roc Nation and thats why he needs Dame and Biggs. But if J Cole goes gold or plat, that shuts everybody up.....well not really cuz they will say his talent got him that plaque. Just like they don't credit him on the early success of Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and Rhianna

Plus I find him quite boring. Not to mention alot of them corny ass lines dude be spitting gets a pass.

In his interviews he's likable and articulate, his music is positive and he has skills.

I can't see how anybody could want any of the Freshmen to fail, except maybe Charles Hamilton who is a madman or Fred the Godson who beat a Russian Immigrant with a crow-bar in Queens...

Poor J.Cole reads those tweets and hears the hatred and it makes him sad.

C/S the bolded, idk how well Roc Nation will nurture a Hip-Hop artist like Cole. Roc Nation does have Jay Electronica, but ehhhh...he's not doing much either. I think he'll succeed though.

They all on Twitter calling him wack and acting like Big Sean ended his career.

Twitter?

Big who??

I think Cole is a talented artist, he got some good tracks, mixtapes (album?)
Don't see a reason to hate on dude, it ain't like he's ''a bad thing'' to Hip Hop

lol all it takez is 1....but like i said itz not only that itz also J COLE himself sayin da album is comin & then he comez wit a XCUSE,.,.da faster j cole putz this album out da faster he can shut up all this so call;d 'h8'

true i understand shit is a lot of double talk. Cole was hyped up no doubt. but his hype has really died down mainly b/c most of his singles this year have been average at best. and b/c that it seems the hate has ramped up. He has high expectations and so far this year he hasn't lived up to them. But I still think a large number of ppl want him to fail so they can say Jay is a failure as CEO.

Big Krit has gotten more than a few fans but he has nowhere near as much hype as J. Cole right now and Big Krit is not signed to HOV label. Ppl waiting and hoping for Cole to fail mane.

I have the same gut feeling about other artist too. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes i'm wrong. Nothing wrong with that. It's just ppl on here that be like "oh he taking more than a year to release an album so he wack."

True but it seems like cole isn't getting hype right now he's just getting hate. I fuck with both artists but i never see anybody complaining that Def Jam is dropping the ball for Krit and that they need to push him harder(which they need to do). I guess it's more b/c he's been on the scene longer. B/c if this time next year def ja, still has Krit on teh shelf i think folks will not be happy about that shit.

My main reasoning for not liking the dude

HIS FANS ARE CALLING HIM JORDAN AFTER A FEW SUMMER LEAGUE GAMES.

Yeah this basically it.... stans do that
Thing is im getting sick of stopping liking artists cause their fans are being lame. Shit this anointment shit happens every couple of years.. and I don't want to stop liking an artist cause his fans say some outlandish shit. I just ignore all the next _____ or '"goat" talk and listen to what I like. The same way people should ignore "haters" should be the same way they ignore people who exaggerate an artist's worth.

For me I can clown J Cole all day, but for me its all jokes, Ima fan of Cole, but that nigga does bullshit all the time sayin his album is coming out and the summer is here and blah blah, thats one of the reasons I think people and myself included are pissed at J Cole and hate on him

........Pretty much.

IMO Big Sean couldn't fuck with Cole on his best day.... and that's no hate.

And there's the I dont think he that nice group, who either don't fuck with him cause they don't think he's that good of a rapper(legit reason), or people whod otherwise fuck with him but feel that he isn't what his fans make him out to be.

These but just to add to this his music is becoming repetitive at this point , now he is an above average rapper for this era and a mediocre producer . He has some nice tracks that i

can vibe to but most of his stuff lacks real replay value. He can't cut loose and make a fun song to save his life and lacks charisma. As i have said many times his fans need to dial

back their expectations and let the boy cook . They also need to realize he is not the commercial type rapper so the chances of blowing up with the style of music he makes now is not

gon happen .

I swear some of the people that hate because the album is taking a while are just anxious to hear it. Undercover fans or some shit

It's strange that people have so much hate for someone that is so humble. He isn't claiming to be the best, doesn't brag about what he has and isn't involved in any gimmicky controversy. He don't even try to force his music down your throat every ten minutes. He is just trying to put out the best music he can for his true fans.

and for the people that say they hate him because some of his fans overhype him....

Your guys really going to let some internet nerds dictate what you like? You also have to understand that we are living in a time where lil b and white girl mob are considered good artists, so some people are just reaching for anything that feels authentic and true to the artform.

We're in a time in which people are thirsty for a new savior in the game. More shameless dickriders than we've ever seen are screaming @ the top of their faggot/female lungs. They latch on to a scrotum or labia and blindly support all the material from their host forthwith and without critical reflection. That pervasive superfan mindset has become an annoyance to those who see mediocrity and growth potential but refuse to jump the gun and crown the untested artist.

Call it what it is, roll over Jay-z hate!

Most of the niggas who i see hate on him, are the southern rap type fans who like that trapping, money, simple type shit. They consider him a square because of his content, and that he graduated college.
