Just finished watching jay Bradley vs Chris Daniels ,, Chris Daniels is that nigga and Jay Bradley is at least developing into his finisher.

Crowning a Champion (07.27.02)

- First off, we have Low Ki in an empty ring talking about what lead to this. From the three way at the first show all the way to this four man iron man match

- Then Corino and Lucious makes out on camera. I normally like Corino (interviewed him in like '05) but this is really getting me annoyed by now

- We then see CSC eat bananas because..... erm......yeah

- They then get turned down to come in to a locker room rave hosted by Brian XL (i smell special K here)

- Homicide and Boogalou tries to get shooting tips from James Maritato, but he ethers them by saying "all yous peoples knows about shootings is taking a guy down an alley and stick it to him real good". So there, thats how you set up a match i guess *sigh*

- First out of the gate is Tony Mamaluke who faces Jeremy Lopez (no. me niether, but apparently he went to japan)

Biggest highlight of the match? No commentary, yay!

- Backstage Divine Storm (named like that because its Chris Devine and Quiet Storm. -sigh-) are talking about something when they see......

CSC with more bananas!

- Then Prince Nana comes to the ring with a dude named Jacobs Ladder (how creative some people are). Crowd goes "Low Ki killed you" at Nana who then tells their opponents, York and Matthews that they are not allowed to hit him on the head. During the match Nana leaves and his tatooed partner gets pinned.

- Then Paul London and Michael "HBK's cousin" Shane are on opposite teams in a winner gets a contract match. Their partners is the awful Biohazard (see road to the title) and a dude named Don Juan. The match ends in a double pin and now Shane and London have a showdown next month.

- Then it gets really dumb. Divine Storm vs Hit Squad. Its dumb because Devine Storm gives some 200+ pounds up to the Hit Squad, but gets an even amount of offense in, which makes Maff and Mack look weak. DHS win though

- Backstage Xavier tells Low Ki that he wants to be first to face him if Low Ki wins tonight.

- I kinda like James Maritato. He looks like a dude that tries to make the most of it whenever he is in the ring. This time its with Jay "Looses a whole lot" Briscoe. And surprise. Jay also does the job this time.

- I don't think blessing someone counts when it's done in a broom cabinet. Anyway, Daniels hypes up the main event and tries to spin the bad guy schtick onto Low Ki and ROH by saying everything they do is dishonorable and his mission is to bring ROH down by becoming it's champion and then he'll rebuild it in his own image.

< - it also looks like he is picking bugs out of her hair.

- Streetfight with Carnage Crew vs Boogalou and Homicide is up next. Not pretty at all. But gives us what it says. Devito is forced to tap in a camel clutch (thats kinda old school i guess. However, this is with a length of barbed wire in his mouth)

- Time for a title match....Huh?....Its not the ROH Title?

Nope, its AJ Styles defending the TNA X-Division Title in ROH against David Young and Adam Jacobs (mainstays at NWA Wildside). Styles win it.

- Then six guys. One of which is Brian XL, have a match and then gets destroyed by a big ass jamaican (im told its Dameon Slugga. That dude has to be 6'7 and 365 or something. DAMN!

- Then Scoot Andrews gets a shot at Xavier one on one. If he looses, he is out of ROH. Match is clipped, which sucks i guess. But Scoot wins and stays.

- Then comes the big one! But man. It looks like its 95 degrees in the arena. Seriously it looks hot as hell (Anybody know if July 02 was hot as hell in philly?)

The match itself is awesome. Id say even better than the Threeway. And lucky me found a couple of caps

The undercard was meh, but the main event made up for it. And your new ROH Champ

pretty solid episode so far, funny promo with aries and daniels, rampage shouldnt be in the business, aj tried to outdo aj lee, but kept stumbling and got some boos and boring chants so thats kinda a fail, i felt what he was sayin tho "im better than the best in the world, im the phenomenal aj styles"

I fucked with AJs promo he was born in the wrong era and Impact crowda suck so on tv its even worse. Its like having a wack crowd for a rap battle. It just sucks the air out of evrything. Tna production is at least on point. Styles vs Roode was a good ass match for what it was worth.

I actually felt like AJ said a whole lot of nothing tbh. The Daniels/Aries promo however was pure gold and got me really hyped for the match. It's old school touches like that that come along way to getting the viewer more involved by the time they hit the ring. Well played. The match itself is pretty good so far despite this crappy commercial break taking from the momentum. I just hope they don't cut it short just to give brotherjackdude more TV time before the end.

Yeah they're making strides in improving that aspect which has always been their biggest fault. John Gaburick's influences are becoming more noticeable with each episode. He's better at TV production for wrestling promotions than Bischoff.

Styles vs Roode was a good ass match for what it was worth.

Aside from AJ botching the moonsault I agree.

Dammit I spoke too soon SMH

Now time for another botchamania promo were the vocab will consist of "Brother", "jack", "dude" and "Cleveland, OH" for that blatant cheap pop.

Btw watching on my cablebox i gotta give impact ratings..

Unless you got a Nielsen box it doesn't count. I always watch it when it airs on TV though. Keeps me fresh from spoilers and I also hate watching any show I watch regularly online unless there's no other alternative like with ROH and NXT when I used to watch them on the reg.

that was a nice match between aries and daniels, i missed the first half but good enough ending, them strikes looked stiff as hell, ima have to catch a replay of this show cuz i left the tv on styles and roode(why, i have no idea)

Sooooo they really started a title match with no referee and only 1 minute left in the show?

Smh...what was the purpose of this?

Solid ep I guess. Roode/Styles was nice and appreciated.
