Is this solely based on his stand up? or do you think his tv shows and movies compete with the likes of Eddie, Martin, Chappelle, and others?

I would say Chappelle surpassed Rock as far as social commentary as well.

I would say Chappelle surpassed Rock as far as social commentary as well.

Nah you know why because you couldnt just wash over Chris Rocks social commentary the way certain people (specifically others)do chappelle it was just funny to them. Chris Rock just smacked you in the face with it.

nah that spot belongs to mike epps whos only funny in small spurts. I remember I saw a show on Netflix a while back. the venue looked like hole in the wall after hours club. it was just a bunch of niggas at tables nobody wasn't paying any attention to him. he was telling recycled jokes from his other stand ups.
