He is the Goat he took social commentary to a level all his predecessors couldnt and he never fell off.

Is this solely based on his stand up? or do you think his tv shows and movies compete with the likes of Eddie, Martin, Chappelle, and others?

I would say Chappelle surpassed Rock as far as social commentary as well.

People remember Chis Rock's stand up more than Chapelle's stand up.

The Chris Rock show was the Chappelle Show before the Chappelle Show, and it lasted 5 seasons.

shit Chris Rock is still devise to this day , he got the how all China in their feelings coz a joke went over their head.

Shit, I remember all of Chappelle's stand ups. And comparing the Chris Rock show to the Chappelle Show is disrespectful within itself. The House of Payne lasted 8 season, shit holds no significance. Not like the Chappelle Show was canceled lol.

I've actually seen only a few of his stand up acts, and I admit they can be better. But the work he's done in movies for me is the funniest I've ever seen.

I wonder if anyone can name a comedian with a franchise as successful as the Rush Hour ones and being the main star? Eddie Murphy comes to mind but few others do.

Oh you talking about the one he did for Netflix?? I haven't seen that one but I noticed there wasn't much buzz for it. I always liked Chris Tucker in movies, that's where he really shines. Even the last Rush Hour movie for me was funny, it did pretty good in the box office as well.

I ain't gonna lie, I was always the guy who laughed the loudest in the movie theater, and Chris Tucker had me dying in the Rush Hour movies. But to each his own.
