Nah. Not enough money involved in the situation for a real lawsuit to be worth it. I mainly want the copyright claim off of my video and my name on the credits.

Edit: So far, I've disputed the copyright claim on my video and I've filed a copyright claim on his song.

^^ This is true. If you put a big/relevant artist in the title of the video, it will increase the views. Did it with a couple of my videos...

Waves Platinum is Waves Gold plus some additional plugins.

Amongst the extra plugins in Platinum are the: L2 Limiter, L3LL Limiter, Linear Phase EQ (great for the mixbus), PuigTec EQ's, Renaissance Desser--which are all frequent and essential contributors to my own personal processing chain.

Those aren't even all of the added plugins Platinum has over Gold. Those are just the notable mainstays for almost everybody that use Waves plugins in the first place.

Especially that L2 limiter. If you ask most people what their favorite Waves plugs are 99% of them will mention the L2 limiter & the Renaissance collection.

Depends. Do you have a limiter or a compressor on the master track? If so, your bass might have maxed out the ratio of the master compression. Simple mixing issue.
