I think I'll always be FL studio, I got ableton and reason but I'm to lazy to learn em

Ableton is Frustrating to look at to me

Especially if you're just starting to make beats. If you got somebody to teach you or watch a tutorial where its broken down to you, I wouldn't suggest it being the first daw. Try out studio one 3, reaper, FL studio, or reason. While I'm thinking about it. If you're going to buy a used maschine proceed with caution. I had to learn the hard way.

FL Studio, Reason and Garageband are GOAT for beginners. Once you know where to find and insert your sounds, it's smooth sailing from there.

Does anyone still use Garageband? A couple of big name producers stole some stock loops from there.

I'm putting out an instrumental project next Tuesday. Finishing it up now.

You better than me. I've been talking that instrumental project talk for years. Haven't released one. Let people in my circle hear them and they love it though.

Should be buying my first keyboard tomorrow...

Since I'm just starting out and have a small budget, what's a recommendation for under $120?

Somehow in the midst of me switching out hard drives while updating my computer I've managed to lose 20 beats saved in FL Studio. I thought I saved them on another drive but to no avail. So that means I gotta start all over again in FL Studio. WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on where you're buying from. My suggestion would be either the Akai MPK Mini Or M-Audio Oxygen 25

Shit. That's why I try to back up my hard drive on an external regularly to avoid losing anything. That shit hurts your soul having a HD fail

Eh I think I would be more comfortable with a 49 key
