I feel like logic pro X is the easiest for me to use based on what I seen but buying a Mac just to get it got me like ehhh

Have you tried it yet ?

Tried it physically? No so maybe I'm being ignorant but from the 25+ hours of vids I've seen logic seems the easiest for me to grasp or more comfortable using. A part of me doesn't even want to use FL studio if I can help it.

How's ableton though?

Honestly, the best thing for you to do is test drive as many DAW programs as you can. That way you get a good feel for how well each one works for you and THEN make your decision. Don't make your decision based on youtube videos. Demos exist for this very reason, put them to use and make a more informed decision based on how YOU work.

I'mma be real, the only thing I check for from Akai is their drum pad controllers. Anything else I pretty much only fucks with M-Audio. I've been using their shit since '95 back when they were called Midiman. I've owned MIDI controllers, various midi boxes, keyboards, and audio interfaces. The only reason I'm using a Lexicon audio interface right now is because it was only $50, but I'm looking at getting another FireWire Solo or stepping up to a Firewire 410.

Were it me, I'd be looking at the M-Audio Code49 or Axiom 49
