If you have not seen 'Hell or high water' go watch that shit and give me my GOATS. Amazing flick. Great storyline, even greater acting. 9.5/10. Wish it would have been a little longer and elaborated on the reasoning a little more even tho it sums it up in the end. Definite recommendation from me. Copping on Blu-ray asap.

Now go back and give me my goat for recommending this movie months ago.

That stretch and bobbito doc was dope!! So many dope appearances and unreleased freestyles and video footage. Got a unheard biggie freestyle on there and some pun and much more. Dudes barely made any money and they were the launching point for the best hip hop in the 90s. Shit was so dope and sad to see how it ended, not just between themselves bUT with music changing and Internet coming in.

Just finished watching The Killing Season on A&E. It's a docu-series investigating the Gilgo Beach murders and other serial murders across the country. Knowing that there are so many unsolved serial murders and the number of possible serial killers in this country is depressing. This series is worth checking out.

The Infiltrator... Walter White is a undercover agent, working for Pablo Escobar n crew to help launder their paper in south Florida in the 80's. Decent movie, couple real cool scenes. I guess I have seen the era/topic done soooo many times. It jus felt tired, goin thru the motions kinda movie. But its worth it jus to see Cranston and Leguizamo do their thing.

Hell or High Water... based on all the reviews, I went into this expecting great things. It was good not jus as as good as I expected. lil over rated imo, movie looks great tho n solid mix of action n dialogue. cinematography is A++ tho. Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges killed their roles.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates...trailer looked like my kinda comedy. So I gave it a watch. Felt like a mix of Wedding Crashers, American Pie and Couples Retreat. Some funny parts but, but kinda tails of towards the end. Adam DeVine is one funny white dude tho.

(preface this by saying im an atheist)

Been watching Biblical epics as of late

Samson and Delilah - Hedy Lamarr & Victor Mature - C+ ( Hedy Lamarr has to been one of the prettiest women in hollywood history)

The Ten Commandments (1956) - Charlton Heston & Yul Brenner - (B+)

Dathan ( Edward G Robinson) had to be one of the biggest haters in movie history lmao.

Yul Brenner killed his role.

Exodus Gods & Kings - (B - ) Christian Bale & Joel Edgerton. Really enjoyed this movie i dont know why its hated on (fuck all that hotep egyptians were black shit) , Christan Bale and Joel Edgerton as the Moses and Rameses did a good job.God wasnt fuckin around with them plagues.

Darren Aronofsky's Noah - (B+) Russel Crowe , Ray Winstone , Jennifer Connely & Emma Watson

Probably my favourite telling of the Noah story,The Visuals and interpretation was very creative , Noah was just a senile old man lmao. Russell Crowe killed this role.

Them Watcher Angels were cooking.

Started out good then tailed off toward the end...the last 15 mins were pretty laughable.

But Brian de Palma got busy behind the camera. Some of the best directing I've ever seen. But I'm biased cuz I love long takes and they were all over this movie. The opening ~10 mins was so dope.

Had high hopes for this with sudeikis, wilson, and galifinakis. Maybe I'll just get real high before I watch.

Jus binged S1 of Hulu's Chance

This show is absurd AF. Hugh Laurie plays a doctor who starts fucking with his patient who suffers from multiple personality disorder (played by Jimmy Darmody's mother from BE.) She is married to a dirty cop who beats her. He asks some crazy random fat white guy to help him save her. That's it. lol. That's the premise of the show. But lol, it works. Show is cool af, its funny to see this str8 lace square dr. keep getting in more and more fucked up situations. That make zero sense. lol. And the fat white guy is funny af. dude plays the role perfect. Show does keep you guessing tho. I dig it.

Gave this a watch last night because of Joe Pesci, the film seemed very familiar tho like I watched it as a kid, not a bad film at all, made me laugh a few times.

EDIT - posted the Spanish cover, the film is called The Super.

Men In Black 1 & 2 - back to back nights on Film4 a week ago

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment - caught it on my Amazon stick. I'm looking for movies released in the 80s these days just to catch a glimpse of how it was then... being an 80s baby

Still Alice - starring Juliannne Moore as a college professor married with kids who develops early Alzheimer's disease and deals with the consequences. Her performance won her an Oscar this year...

Wanderlust - starring Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd about a mobile city couple who integrate with hippies after losing their livelihoods... was funny in some parts

The Passion Of The Christ - seeing it for the first time in HD quality... it was basically torture porn. Jesus Christ!!!

Precinct Seven Five - documentary highlighting corruption amongst certain police officers in Brooklyn, NY in the 80s (again) and a certain officer named Mike Dowd who was basically a criminal using his badge to enrich himself and protect drug lords... think of The Departed and Training Day but not fictionalised. LOL

Man Of Steel - I'm more of a Batman fan than the Supes but I saw this for the first time last weekend and was impressed. I even feel it's better in structure than BvS...

Doc on netflix called the good life. About a hip hop open mic night called the good life in LA back in the early 90s. Spawned a lot of dope careers from freestyle fellowship, abstract rude, jurassociate 5 and many others. Dope doc.

Just peeped another doc on netflix called "what's that sample?". Shit was awesome, it's a doc about this history of the record "Apache" that was used by Kool herc in his early parties that crdated hip hop, then went on to be the most sampled song in hip hop history due to it having so many different drum breaks. Really awesome doc.
