I liked it...

Denzel, Cheadle & Goodman were good...

I think it would have been better to have shown the plane crash with a slow reveal throughout the film with the crash taking place the same time Whip's lies with alcoholism came crashing down at the hearing, it would have had more impact (pun intended) that way IMO...

I read a while back John Travolta throwing shade on Flight 'cos he said the way the plane crashed and was overturned in the film was not realistic

He was actually given the lead role since he's a pilot but passed. Denzel got it and got an Oscar nod for his troubles. LOL

I sensed a lil' hate there. .

If I remember right the way the plane was turned upside down to make it crash like that actually happened in real life. But instead of only 8 people out of 104 dying like the movie only 4 people lived if I remember right.

I watched Lawless last night. Great movie although dude from transformers was a bitch ass nigga the whole movie

But you gotta think it was based off a book that was based on real events. Think it was called The Wettest County in the World or something like that, so somebody had to play the bitch ass dude and who better to do so than Shia LaBeouf.

Watched A Million Ways to Die in the West, wasn't really all that funny but the cameos from Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown and Jamie Foxx as Django were GOAT. 5.5/10.

Call em Washed up. Call em Old. Call Them finished. I call them Legends. Check out my Over The Hill Action Marathon:

(GRADE C) The Trilogy is now complete. Stallone brings all the guys back and adds some new team members in the 3rd installment of the Blockbuster Action Franchise "The Expendables". When Barney Ross finds himself feeling guilty about X Expendables lost in the past. He decides he wants a new team. But going with a bunch a rookies gets him in more trouble than he bargained for. Well it was a decent sequel but honestly I think the movie could of been better. Wesley and Antonio Bandaras stole the movie.

Harrison Ford was interesting in this role. The Young cast was pointless. I don't know I feel like at this point people are just collecting checks. I commend Stallone for this series but out of all 3 films I'm still waiting for that true 80's action movie. It seems now people are just showing up on screen and the plots for these movies have gotten worst with each film. Overall it had some good one-liners and throwback scenes so I still enjoyed it but I really wanted more from this series and I felt it has gotten worst with each film. Sadly I have to say this is a wait for video.

(GRADE B +) The Man, The Myth, The Legend Denzel Washington teams back up with Antione Fuqua for the 1st time since their Oscar Winning film "Training Day" in the film adaptation of the 1980's TV Show "The Equalizer". Denzel plays an Ex-CIA operative who is now retired working at a Home Depot like Warehouse. After work he always goes and gets some food and coffee at a local diner. He would talk to and run into a Hooker there.

Well one day after seeing her get roughed up by some Russain Mobsters he decides to get involved and the movie takes off from there. I thought this was a great role for Denzel. He was hardbody. The movie does take a while to get going but once it's going it's gone. Chloe did a good job and it reminded me of Jodie Foster in "Taxi Driver". This wasn't really like the TV outside of some of Denzel's actions with his watch. The action was on point and the Main Bad Guy was dope. There's rumors there will be a sequel and I hope so cause I like Denzel in this character.

(GRADE = B ) Keanu Reeves is back in action with his assassian thriller "John Wick". After taking almost a decade off after "The Matrix Trilogy", Keanu has really only been a few action movies since then. "Constintine" was one. Then the low budget "Man of Tai Chi" and last year's box office bomb "47 Ronin". But this film should of been called "Neo Wick" as Keanu is back in form. The figting style he uses "Gun-Fu" was very grounded and realistic. The story is about a retired Assassin who gets married but his wife died of a disease. She gave him a Dog before her death. Well some punk kids decide to mess with him while he's getting gas. They follow him home and rob him and kill his dog. Of course they forget to kill him. This sets the movie off as John Wick goes on a rampage. I didn't like the bad guy in this movie but Keanu and the action made up for it. Really enjoyed this movie. It was very B-Movieish but it worked.

So most of the stars of these 3 Action Films may be over 50 years old but they all proved they can still kick some major a$$.

the walking dead-A

I just finished the breaking b ad series on Netflix last june. I heard of these shows but back then true blood had my attention. thanks to Netflix I can catch up and see what the hype is about. i'm 2 episodes in and this show is the truth. this is show is more gory than the 2004 dawn of the dead movie. it is heavy on drama also with tense moments like the dude who couldn't shoot his zombified wife or suspenseful moments like when the cop first rode into Atlanta on horse back or when he and the little Asian dude covered themselves in zombie entrails and walked the streets so they wouldn't be detected by other zombies until it started raining. i'm hooked right now I might watch a six episode marathon this weekend.

the show sucks, the first handful of episodes are the best ones

look at the flowers bcotton, just look at the flowers....

Wish I was here

A movie directed by Zack Braff about a family man trying to find happiness in the midst of his ailing father and trying to reconnect his family together.

Really good movie, same movie score as garden state but not as dark. Every character has its moments in the spotlight. The chemistry was there and the acting was on point. A nice little heart warming flick. If you liked garden state, I recommend checking this out. 8/10

On Netflix watching documentaries, and just seen "Good Hair" for the first time. That shit's hilarious and disturbing on many levels.

Speaking of which...

Into the storm

None of the characters were relatable. In fact, they were down right bitches. I kind of wanted all them white people in that suburban Oklahoma town to die. The camera affect didn't make any sense because at times, no-one was holding a camera and you find it just being a regular movie. They did a half ass job on the direction of the movie and the main characters were corny and over emotional. 2/10

watched lets be cops yesterday it was good, watching Into The Storm right now and it sucks I got it playing in the background while I do homework
