Joe starring Nicholas Cage and Tye Sheridan. Classic. Watch this. 9/10.

This was a good movie

The hillbilly dialog was unbearable at times but I fucks with this one

6.9

It's because they weren't acting the only "actors" in the movie were Cage and Sheridan.

i was watching some buster keaton movies the other day, the slapstick in those are mad funny. my main reason to watch was because its so interesting to see what life was like 100 years ago. blows my mind to see how far we've come in that time frame.

Good story, great actors, great food. Light hearted feel good movie.

I have been meaning to watch this. Great cast, but it looks kinda corny....

Na, it was surprisingly refreshing. It's definitely something to add to your dvd collection.

What

Cage and Sheridan were the only actors actually in the movie, the rest where just regular people from the area that the director found. Look at its Wiki page, none of the other actors even have a Wiki page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_(2013_film)

Also I read that the guy that played Wade died not too long after the movie was completed.

So recently a lot of this type of films have come out in the last two years or so .. .

Films with Hollywood veterans of the golden era (70's to '90's) cast as leads in 'em. Guys in their 60's, 70's and probably 80's .. . these dudes were probably competitive in their prime with maybe beefs

And I have to admit I enjoy the performances more than most of these new school cats .. .

I saw this two weeks ago via a rental. It stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin as three long term friends and criminals who meet up again one night after many years on/for some street shit .. .. The very last scene in the film was classic .. .

^^^^ Philip Seymour Hoffman

A film of his that went under the radar called Synecdoche, New York. It was directed by Charlie Kauffman famous for writing Being John Malkovich and Adaptation

I copped the DVD

I also saw another movie of his with my sis at the cinema right after work last night called, A Most Wanted Man where he plays a German spy trying to crack out terrorists with Islamic backgrounds and their sponsors. Also had a cat and mouse game between the German and American intelligence officials.

PSH was a great talent .. .

The Drop (2014) 8.5/10

Based on a novel written by the same guy who wrote mystic river and gone baby gone

Stars Tom Hardy, James Galdafini

Hardy did an excellent job...story was good... liked the alil twist at the end as well

Just watched oculus. That movie was pretty dope imo. Been awhile since ive seen a horror movie ive enjoyed. Had some creepy shit in it. The ending was hilarious to me. Had no idea WWE Studios produced the film lmao. Recommend it for any horror movie fan though.

Been meaning to check this out. Looked pretty decent. Is it kind of a comedy? or drama?

It's a Dramedy for sure, Jon Favreau trying to figure out how Twitter works was hilarious.

Transformers AOE

2/10

Movie was stupid as fuck with the absolute worse acting especially after Lucas got killed. I turned it off halfway through and don't plan on watching the rest of it.
