Prisoners

hugh jackman, terrence howard, and jake gyllenhall

Not sure how I feel about this movie. I thought the concept was different. Terrence howard kinda acted like a bitch at times lol. But I understood why. The movie felt long but I was glued to it wanting to know what was going to happen next. I wasn't feeling the ending though. Hugh jackman kept going from 0 to 100 which was completely understandable but funny at the same times.

rewatched Captain America last night, thought it was the weakest out of all the origin movies so far when i first watched it but on a second viewing i found it waaay more enjoyable....i think the brand being more established now made me pay a lot more attention.

looking forward to the sequel a lot more than i was.

Was happy my boy McConaughey won the Oscar but after finally watching Nebraska, a part of me wishes Bruce Dern would've won it. If you haven't seen it, it's classic shit, especially that rich black and white they shot the film in, if the last scene doesn't have you near tears, you ain't human. Bob Odenkirk a/k/a Saul from Breaking Bad has a pretty prominent role also.

dope movie. reminded me a lot of fresh.

i liked the theme of it as well...when you're a kid, especially a young black male you probably don't have a lot of good male influences to look up to. so do you follow the first one you get even if he's exposing you to a lot of negative things?

was't perfect, but overall a good movie. solid cast & nice cameos from actors from the wire too.

watched This is the End, shit was fuckin funny to me. I'm curious to what people thought about it around here.

theyve been showing this on hbo ive been wanting to catch it too but always find a reason not to

seems to have a lot of white people sense of humor in it that pushes boundaries trying to be funny aka gay shit

"theres that kid from costco w/the big fat dick" - from the movie the watch

smfh i bet that movie has a bunch of that in it

Madchen In Uniform. Thought netflix recommended this as a horror movie, and it could've been one with how the girls were in love with their teacher. Just a teen/teacher lesbian movie though. Felt kinda wrong that the adult in the situation never shut all that shit down. Pretty boring, but the headmaster was funny. Women should shut up, serve a husband and expect a beating from time to time. lol. And everybody at the table agreed with her.

The Agony and the Ecstasy. Really slow. Started off with a 15 minute open of narration then a couple guys getting chased through a cornfield. Followed that up with what felt like 5 minutes of the pope riding down the street so people could sing and kiss the ring. Stuck with it and enjoyed it come, but I'd recommend saving an hour and checking out a history channel examination of the sistine chapel.

Multiplicity. Always enjoy a 80/90s Keaton movie. Had no idea Harold Ramis directed it.

I frankstein..I knew it would be ass cheeks but as I was bored on a sunday morning thought what the hell. The whole movie is cringe inducing from start from finish. No sense of humour, over acting, dull monologues ,no solid protagonist, "meh" fight scenes and for a movie about a man/beast with no soul it seriously lacks one. Only positive is..

breaking bad on Netflix. I never watched the show while it was aired i wanted to see what the hype is about. i'm almost done with the second season. star wars clone wars the lost missions. these are the episodes from what was supposed to be last years season that didn't air. i saw the add for it on youtube so i had to check it out. it's on Netflix

i skipped to episode six. yoda is constantly hearing the voice of qui gon gin and it has him shook. so he consults the council he doesn't tell them the voice is qui gon.. qui gon guides yoda to degobah for more training. good episode it's a three part episode. i like the clone wars series more than i like the the prequel trilogy although episode III is good also.
