Joy Road. Okay movie. You'll know where it's going pretty early on. Whole security firm deal felt like a big loose end since it never actually went anywhere. For some reason, felt like they were trying to make you give a shit about big boy but him and wood harris had maybe five scenes together and only one conversation worth sitting through. He doesn't talk to his lawyer, but he gives the lawyers sister information that gets her killed? And wood harris still fought to get him off? Man fuck that guy.

The Devil's Double. Worth the watch just for Dominic Cooper's performance. Ending was a bit weak but definitely enjoyed it. Wish I hadn't looked it up and found out the guy who wrote it might be full of shit. Doesn't take away from the movie though.

Exit Strategy. Funny movie. Lot of head scratcher/weird moments. How you beg somebody to let you live with them then complain about the rules they got? The pimp..possibly murderer.. maybe rapist father? Stuff like that. Short movie but still felt like it dragged since there wasn't really a whole lot the guy was trying to do past break up with his girl.

American Me. Thought it was good. Can't remember much of it though.

Legend of the Legendary Heroes. Subpar anime, just too much goofy stuff going on. Jokes and what not. Not to mention the just plain stupid things. Saving enemies for no reason. Letting things go on rampages without a care even though you're serving your country and probably should fix something you messed up to begin with. It looked good atleast.

Lethal Weapon 4 .. LOL saw this again on cable last weekend after many years. They got a serious ass whooping from Jet Li towards the end

Dobermann .. Ultra violent French thriller starring Vincent Cassel and Monica Belluci. Typical cops vs robbers shit but has a pulp like swag to it . .. A cop happens to even be more of a saddist than the robbers

Just saw Gravity on 3D (yeah, I know) tonite

Brilliant. Emmanuel Lubeski as DOP kilt it. Sandra Bullock gives a restrained and commanding performance .. .

8/10

Was browsing netflix and saw this movie on there. Stars Ben Stiller, and since im a fan of a good amount of his stuff i decided to check it out. Movie was pretty funny. Not necessarily Laugh Out Loud funny, but it kept me interested until the end. Def recommend if your a fan of some of the dudes movies.

Its about Ben Stiller's character being adopted, and wants to find his biological parents to learn more about himself. He brings his wife along with their 4 month unnamed baby (he wants to wait to find his parents before he names it) and his attractive adoption agency worker.

GHOST

8.5/10

Starring

Paytrick swayze

Whoopi Goldberg

Demi moore

This is one of my favorite movies may be a lil too cheesy for some but I found it to be a good love story ..whoopi goldberg steals the movie IMO

Good flick to watch with ur s/o

#randomfact

The studio originally wasn't gonna cast goldberg in the role but swayze wouldn't sign on to do the movie unless whoopi was cast.

Europa Report. Read Mech not too long ago and just started a Dead Space book so the whole time I was expected a xenomorph to pop out. Enjoyed the hell out of this even though nothing like that happened. Appreciated the found footage editing in this setting.

My Dear Desperado. Good Korean comedy. Had to dig a bit through amazon prime so I thought it'd be garbage with blurry subtitles. Surprised me.

The Hobbit. Pretty confusing for me. I didn't enjoy it, but I want to see it again. Took way too long to get to the story. Probably 20 minutes of narration to start off. Wasn't all bad though, got to see the Dwarves get their asses handed to them..sorta. Had no appreciation for all the damn singing. Or the comedy. Still want to go back and put another 3 hours in on it though. Guessing it was the ending having me hyped for the dragon.

The great Batman Returns up next.

watched with my 6 year old Batman and Batman Returns past few days - he loved them both. Is it just me or are these 2 of the funniest fuckin movies in the genre? so many hilarious quotables from Jack/Joker, Max Shreck, Penguin... i found these movies to have a fantastic sense of dark humor, much more timeless than the goofy one liners we get in the recent comic book movies

The Family with De Niro and Tommy Lee Jones...I enjoyed the movie..it's like a Black Comedy I dunno why all the critics shitted on it.

Yeah I liked that. Thought the part where they had Deniro and Jones in the room with all the french folks watching Goodfellas was funny.

Videogirl

starring megan goode, bun b

I started not to watch this because it looked bootleg and was on bet but i ended up liking it.

Megan good plays a small town girl whose dreams of being a ballerina are crushed after a car accident injury. She ends up in a video and the director takes a liking to her, they start dating and she becomes the it girl for awhile, appearing in numerous videos, moves to la and is living in her rich video director's mansion. From there it goes downhill and the movie chronicles her downfall ; coke addiction, her sister dies and at one point she is either raped or almost raped, not sure exactly. I enjoyed it but i thought the coke addiction eas kinda overdone. She was walking around with a coke vial in broad daylight like something out of scarface. Do people even do it like that anymore lol.

Mission: Impossible ..

Last night and I'm thinking it might be the best outta the four in the series. It looked quite classy

I've noticed as a film enthusiast that Tom Cruise has probably been one of the only actors in Hollywood to work with the biggest directors in the game

- Spielberg

- Mann

- The Scott Bros. (Ridley & Tony)

- Stone

- Scorsese

- Kubrick

- de Palma

- Coppola

- Anderson

- Woo

- Pollack

- Howard

- Reiner

- Levinson

- Zwick

- Liman

- Redford

I gave this a watch cuz it got great reviews and stars Van Alden and Eli Thompson from Boardwalk Empire. This film was a chore to watch real talk. it toke me some 4hrs to get thru this 2hr movie, I kept stopping to do other shit. cuz the 1st 3/4 are painstakingly slow. but its a real good movie. deals with mental illness and doomsday preppers type people. Michael Shannon acts his ass off. and real good ending...if you have the patience to sit thru it. its a real good watch imo...
