Damn this shit has a great atmosphere, such a strange series so far. Anyone seen it?

(GRADE = B - ) "Mama" is the psychological horror film produced by Guillermo del Toro (Pacific Rim, Pan's Labyrinth) and staring Jessica Chasten. The story centers around two little girls who's suicidal father ends up crashing a car with them in it on a snowy night. While lost in the woods they find a cabin. Before the father could cause harm they encounter a spirit energy that saves them. 5 years would pass and the brother of the girls father would go looking for the girls and find them in the cabin. It was a pretty creepy story and concept. I thought it was well executed, I wasn't really scared but "Mama" story was unreal and imagining how the girls survived in the woods for 5 years is what really makes the story even creepier. The ending was a little dramatic but overall it was a decent film for this era of horror. Kinda brought it back to the old school horror films where less is more and they weren't about showing all the gore.

First 30 min was good. Hated the rest. I give it a D-. The ending was the final nail in the coffin. One good thing is the 2 girls were good actresses.
cs.........................this movie was horrible no real back story on "mama" is she alien? Did she have a death touch? Why was she in the old house anyway? Movie was awful after the first 30mins
