Devil's Advocate.

While I have watched bits and pieces of this movie on tv, I have never seen the full uncensored version. People often speak of Pacino's speech at the end of the movie but the one in middle where that fat white dude was running set the rest of film. Apart from it strangely predicting the future, it is one of those monologs that get you hyped up and make you sit up in your seat.

Of course Pacino's phenomenal speech at the end tied everything together in just a fantastic explosion of thought. This was one of his GOAT roles and my second favorite of his after his work in The Godfather. He in my opinion was one of the best people to play the devil in a movie like this.

Was an A++ I think, I love movies like this from Fallen to End of Days, I wish they do more movies like this.

Europa report - minimalistic sci-fi film, you'll recognise most of the cast if you know your shit (shartlo Copley is amongst them.) follows a crew making their way to a moon of Jupiter to collect data because scientists have discovered water there.slow burning but effective, real throwback to the sci-fi films of old.found it quite enjoyable.

The internship - seeing the leads back together keeps you watching but this film is like 5 years too late.no real laugh loud moments and massively predictable.theres a quidditch game in the middle of the film, now im not sure if this is how Google processes its interns in reality but Vince Vaughn sums it up when he questions what the fuck this has to do with computing.

One night in mongkok - title makes it sound like something it isnt.Chinese flick where over the course of a night a detective squad are trying to locate an assasin before a gang war breaks out.a morality lesson on violence and how the decisons these characters make come round full circle in the end.not as serious as it sounds but I fucked with this flick.

The way way back - have to say this are usually the kind of films I like so its probably one of the most enjoyable films I've seen this year.co written by the dean from 'community' (he also stars in it) set over the summer in a waterpark run by Sam Rockwell (great in this) its a charming coming of age story.kind of film that puts a a smile on your face if your having a shitty day.either that or you go outside and choke a bitch.

Yeah Devil's Advocate just showed why no one plays crazy ass erratic characters better than Pacino ..

Another highlight was a full frontal from the two bishes in the flick ..

(GRADE = C) Roland Emmerich is back, the Director that brought you "Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, 2012 and Stargate" brings you "White House Down". The Master of Disaster is taking on Washington DC again after blowing up the White House in "Independence Day", I guess he felt that wasn't enough. The movie stars Channing Tatum who's been on a blockbuster role in the last 2 years as an under achieving security agent for speaker of the house of representatives. When a friend gets him an interview for Secret Service. He ends up taking his daughter who is a government junkie along for the ride.

Well an innocent white house tour and interview turns to on the job training. Jamie Foxx plays the President of the U.S. as he gave his best Obama impersonation. Terrorist take over the white house and only Channing can stop them and save the president. Well after watching "Olympus has Fallen", I thought maybe this one would be better but it wasn't. They had the bigger budget and stars but the movie fell flat. Jamie and Channing didn't have great chemistry. You weren't afraid of the terrorist at all. Plus they broke into the White House way to easy wasn't believeable. James Woods did OK in his role but sadly this was nothing more than a wannabe Die Hard but in the White House. Decent rental but I didn't really care about the characters in the film and the action wasn't as good as I'd hope.

i liked white house down. it was a fun action-adventure film. the banter bewteen Jamie Fox and white dude was funny. I didnt take it serious, jus lookin for action and a couple laughs. the waving of the flag @ the end was too much tho. I'd give it a solid "B"

beautiful film.. amazingly shot, great acting with a fantastic 80's slasher throwback score.

I was a bit disappointed when it ended because I didn't feel like it outdid the original in terms of shock-value. However, it was still pretty disturbing and the more I think about it - it's just a great, well done film. Joe Spinell would have been proud of the overall quality that it delivered.
