Did he acknowledged the fact that he is aware that he and his peers are slaves to material wealth? I don't think the song is arrogant or is he being outlandishly arrogant, it's angry as fuck tho and that makes sense. Kanye is infusing punk rock into his music. yes the third verse ye is commenting on the the prison industrial complex, which disproportionately jails young men of color to fill state budget holes and enrich private corporations making these young men the "new slaves". but throughout the song he's not just pointing figures at the corporations he's also commenting on how people are now becoming slaves to materialistic things/corporate dollar ... bruh from the imagery he used during his performance all the way down to the use of the phrase " we the new slave" its all there...
