It's true that most of us hard core NaS fans never cared about awards cause frankly, NaS never won awards. His 1st major award win was his Sports Emmy award. With that said the Grammy really don't mean that much to Hip Hop Heads. Most of the Greatest acts in Hip Hop History never won a Grammy like Tupac, Biggie and Run DMC to name a few. With all that said the fact that NaS could walk away with one is still good for his career. What I agree with you is there is something hypocritical amongst NaS fans. They get on Jigga for winning grammy's and meeting with Big Time White Business leaders and call him Euro Jay but when NaS meets with Zuckerberg and is now having some Grammy buzz they turn the blind eye.

As for Biggie's nods, "Life After Death" should of beat "No Way Out". 'Men in Black" over "Hypnotize"?, NO. I'm not surprised "I'll be missing you" won. Biggie was the executive producer of "No Way Out" so he should of gotten a posthumus grammy award when it won Best Rap album. "Gangster's Paradise" is a Classic song so I understand why it won but "Dear Mama" and "Big Poppa" are Classic songs too. As for Pac, "Me Against The World" losing to Naughty By Nature?, I can't say that album is better than Pac, actually that album was the beginning of their decline. But it still had bangers on it. The Score was just bigger internationally than "All Eyes On Me" that's why it won. "Hey Lover" had Boyz II Men and a Michael Jackson sample. "Crossroads" could be argued as better than "California Love" but it's still Classic. "Changes" losing to "My Name Is" Is a travesity and the grammy's should be ashamed.
