Just binge watched this the last 2 days. It was kinda corny at first, but I fell in love with this show towards the end. Shit is beautiful to watch. Hip Hop WON. Shame its only 6 episodes (tho the premiere is 1 hr 33 mins). Jimmy Smits is killing his role. Just wishing they'd do more with Giancarlo Esposito. It'll probably be next season when the inevitable "And on his 18th birthday...he found out it wasnt his" happens. Mylene's sexy ass was rubbing me the wrong way early on with her tricking ass, but she's motivated and helped motivate Zeke to get off his ass and do something. But like others said, I dont think her story has a happy ending.

8.5 outta 10. DareDevil, OITNB, Narcos, Stranger Things and now this? Netflix is SHITTING on the game right now.

Its a shame this show hasnt taken off. I know it's only been a month and it takes time for shows (especially on streaming sites) to blow, but not too many people are talking about it and I only know one other person that's watched it. I wasnt expecting it to blow like "Stranger Things" cause it's not an almost entirely white cast (it's the opposite) and doesnt have as broad of an appeal, but I thought it'd be doing a little better.

They BETTER renew this shit for a second season or at least have some closure with the next 6 episodes. Im too invested.
