His post is mainly referring to how synonymous McNabb was with the Eagles as a team as well as an organization. I don't think he's saying McNabb was/is as good as those two, but his post did touch on something that I don't quite understand. The Eagles were terrible before McNabb entered the franchise. Fast forward several division, and NFC championships, and a super bowl appearance later, & some Eagle fans are still upset as if they were world beaters before he got there. That organization never won shit ( a Lombardi trophy), so where are these expectations coming from? I just don't understand a good majority of the Eagles fan base and maybe that's a good thing.

thats not completely true at least as far as this decade goes...one thing i will say is they have been pretty good a letting vets go at the right time recently, and they have been one of the best drafting teams in the league since mcnabb was picked up.
