c'mon
has there ever been a QB, a top caliber QB that has been as undervalued as Donavon has been
this jus dont seem right
i cant see Peyton finishing his careers with the Texans or Tom Brady being traded to Buffalo for a 2nd round pick
when you think Mcnabb you think Eagles and vica versa and if you think of a trade you atleast think out of division
this shit jus aint right
i feel hurt personally.
im officially an enemy of the eagles from here on out

We play the Eagles. Might as well chalk up a win for that

His post is mainly referring to how synonymous McNabb was with the Eagles as a team as well as an organization. I don't think he's saying McNabb was/is as good as those two, but his post did touch on something that I don't quite understand. The Eagles were terrible before McNabb entered the franchise. Fast forward several division, and NFC championships, and a super bowl appearance later, & some Eagle fans are still upset as if they were world beaters before he got there. That organization never won shit ( a Lombardi trophy), so where are these expectations coming from? I just don't understand a good majority of the Eagles fan base and maybe that's a good thing.

thats what i meant. mcnabb is the eagles QB for as longs we can remember.
it was unthinkable for him to jus be shipped off like that.
but hey,
i've only been an eagles fan since 03 and from what i hear they have had terrible front office decisions for decades
but in my lifetime i jus didnt imagine him actually leaving.
the trade/release talks have been there since 06 and it jus seemed like business as usual
i was used to the idea of andy & mcnabb gettin close with no cigar and waiting on the pats and colts to die out so they can sneak one in
then everyone could shut up and leave them alone
peagle05;448204 said:thats not completely true at least as far as this decade goes...one thing i will say is they have been pretty good a letting vets go at the right time recently, and they have been one of the best drafting teams in the league since mcnabb was picked up.
millz_flybridge;448218 said:well last year pickin Jeremy Maclin over Kenny Britt was retarded...they needed a big reciever, not a Desean Jackson clone
msuman;447911 said:LMAO at you saying minimal a division title. This deal in my mind puts us ahead of the Eagles but still behind the Cowboys and Giants. Yeah we draft Okung with the 4th but who is going to be our RG and RT? Hicks and Heyer lol if you think Donovan will have enough time with those 2 bums. How is ouy d straight when we are switching to a 3-4. Who plays the ILB next to Fletch....who is the other OLB getting pressure off the edge opposite RAK? Who plays the other DE spot? I see why us Skins fans get clowned so muc.
