This show is turning it for me! The pilot had me glued to the screen and wanting more. No shade, but I wasn't going to watch because of the premise of the show. Now I'm addicted to it!

Just checked it out. I'm feeling it so far. Captured the aura of the seedy element in Times Square during the 70's before it was disneyfied. They also renewed it for a 2nd season which will focus on another time period. Knowing how David Simon loves to expand universes, I'm sure the series will get more byzantine all while still managing to be engrossing altogether

Haven't seen the latest episode yet but I like the show. Candy/Eileen is the best character which is no surprise since Maggie Gyllenhaal is a producer on the show.

This show is more about what's happening than the ppl tho so I'm also not surprised I don't really care about anyone outside of candy as of yet.
